I want to love this coffee shop! Their coffee and other drinks and even the food is tasty and great but their service, ughhh….. If you are here to grab an coffee and go, you are going to be frustrated waiting. Whether the coffee shop is full, empty… no matter what. The minimum wait time is 12 to 15 minutes. I keep hoping it will change and keeping coming back but NOPE! So it’s really a tug of war if I want to go a place where I know the beverages are great vs I need the beverage fix quickly.

I travel to Durham 1-2 times a year and have always visited Bean Traders for the past 20 years. Warm, Friendly, and always a great cup of Java. The only comparable coffee roasters here on the Cape is Beanstock but they closed their Wellfleet location and changed into a roasting company. Although the coffee is excellent, I miss the coffee house atmosphere that Bean traders preserved

They have a big open back room that perfect for group work. They get busy on the weekends, especially early-mid mornings and the lines can be unmanageable. They could do a better job there but that's really my only complaint. Otherwise this is a great place to grab a cup and relax in a open community environment.

This is a great place with a lot of space. Drinks can be rather slow coming out when they are busy. The picking up of drinks is not particilarly intuitive and food comes up on the other side of the large bar/prep area. Good seating for studying/working.

Love this place. Only wish I lived closer. Best espresso drinks around. Great food, too! Relaxing coffee shop atmosphere, WiFi, and many seats. Gets crowded though!

I love to support local businesses when possible and Bean Traders makes that super easy to do since their coffee is so amazing! I tend to order online (when they aren’t super busy) and I’m always greeted with a “Hello” when I go in to pick up my order.
The pastries they offer are also really tasty. If you order something online and they don’t have it for you when you go to pick up your order, they will let you pick something else or or offer to give you a refund.
Great atmosphere and great customer service to go along with some of the best coffee I’ve ever had.

This is a cool spot, very popular, which can sometimes lead to really long lines/waits (hence the 4 stars), especially a weekend morning. On a recent trip I purchased a bagel with cream cheese and a coffee frosty. Both were good, I would have liked the coffee frosty to have a bit more coffee flavor. Seems like a popular spot for families, people who need a spot to work and many of the exercisers who are accessing the gyms or the tobacco trail.

Bean Traders is the quintessential independent coffee shop. It can get a little loud at times, so it's not the best place if you need peace and quiet to work. The staff has always been helpful and polite to me and there is a large selection of drinks and pastries. (The muffins are particularly awesome.) It's stuck in the back of a strip mall and can be a little difficult to find, but just look for the orange VW bus.

Bean Traders is a hyper-local favorite for coffee, tea, and pastries. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Delicious coffee, espresso, and tea. Lots of seating (though usually still crowded). Laptop friendly (but be considerate). Great pies! For something to drink, I recommend the mocha, dirty hippie (coffee and tea mix), or the tea cloud latte. If you're feeling chilly, a hot habanero coffee will warm you right up!

The food here doesn't make sense, but sometimes the best things in life don't. I never had a bagel like the cool cat but it was amazing!
