Super cute coffee and book shop! Great coffee even picked up a book

Our first stop almost every morning during our stay in Duck. Delicious coffee and such friendly staff. Love the OBX-set fiction section and a bunch of beach/ocean books for little kids too.

The staff is very helpful and ready to help you find the perfect book and drink to make your day a little bit better. Always such a good time to get a great drink with friendly people and enjoy the front porch while the little birds hang out with you by the deck railings.

Excellent atmosphere, great books, great service. Sipping coffee out front and listening to the birds made for an excellent capstone to a day out.

Quick service, good coffee, fun selection of books, and local treasures. Social distancing was clear and easy to understand. Place is well located for a final pit stop coming on the island or heading home. Looking forward to visiting when things are back to normal. We had an iced Americano and an iced latte.

Very good coffee. Friendly and helpful staff. I really enjoyed my morning coffee here and wandered the neighborhood shops.

My favorite coffee shop on the OBX, and I always make sure to visit every year. The staff is always welcoming and friendly. Coconut crunch (the best!!) is always in our cupboards at our home in PA. I like to pretend I’m sitting by the beach as I’m sipping it. Truly, I look forward to visiting every year (and stocking up on more coconut crunch!) Attached photo was taken just days after hurricane Dorian rolled through, and Ducks Cottage was open!

Stopped for a quick coffee and we got a gluten free chocolate muffin and a chocolate chip muffin, service with a smile! Coffee was very good, I made it the way I wanted it.
