The Chill Spot - ice cream and espresso

The Chill Spot is the best place on the Outer Banks (OBX) for ice cream! Great flavors with homemade waffle cones. Just follow the yummy smell off the beach! The kids loved Tye-Dye Thursday! We go here every time when we’re here. The staff is friendly, welcoming and it feels like home each time we return. I recommend everyone check out the Chill Spot in Corolla, NC…you’ll be happy you did😎

Loved our experience at The chill spot during our vacation! Staff was very welcoming, all we wearing masks properly and there were markers appropriately placed for social distancing. Ice cream was amazing and great priced. I also loved the bamboo straws! Great for the environment will definitely be returning next time we are in the OBX

I absolutely loved my experience at The Chill Spot! I used to come here many years ago when it was still owned by Grammy. I was happy to see it still has the same amazing ice cream and friendly atmosphere. Best cookies & cream and waffle cone I’ve had in a long time! My friends and I will definitely be back!

Fun atmosphere and great flavors. I got salty Caramel pretzel and parents got a double chocolate brownie in a sundae, and also in an ice cream sandwich. 👌 cute stickers and shirts available as well.

We just came home from a vacation in Corolla and ate ice cream here. Best ice cream. They had 3 young girls working in there they had an A + personalities. They were very knowledgeable of their product and even gave us recommendations of great places. It was so good we ate there twice. My son said that it was one of the best finds that we got on our vacation.

Don't be fooled, this owner asks tour guides and his staff to make accounts giving this business 5 star ratings. Very bad attitude from staff and owner. Seemed as if they didn't't want my business and wanted to sit on the chair. Cotton candy ice cream that I ordered was mostly melted and tasted like it was sitting out for days. Owner has a very rude/sadistic attitude which was not welcoming at all. All good reviews are phony and lying.

Great ice cream and great customer service. Lots of delicious ice cream flavors to select from at a great price. The establishment was very clean and masks were enforced. The kind cashier even gave us some free Grammy B merchandise to us that they were getting rid of since rebranding. I would definitely recommend The Chill Spot!

Friendly staff. Wonderful place. Cool choices. The kids made us visit 5 out of 7 nights last year and 5 out of 7 nights this year with zero complaints. Keep it up guys and girls. Cool joint.

We come here every year when we visit and always love it. In fact, this year our son said “this is the BEST ice cream I’ve ever had!” The employees are always so friendly and helpful and they engage with their customers (especially the little ones who will talk their ears off!). The social distancing marks are on the floor and everyone was in masks so we felt good stopping in. We look forward to seeing you all next year!
