Duck Donuts

These were the absolute best donuts I've ever had! They're small but filling and delicious. They make them really quickly right in front of your eyes and they're served warm, making them taste even better! 11/10 recommend these for anyone in the area.

The store is clean, the donuts are delicious and the place was easy to find. My only gripe was the ordering process was a little unorganized. At the front of the store there's a little table with order forms and pictures but that spot is almost always covered with people standing in front of it. Might be useful to have a roaming staffer helping people figure out their order.

The donuts are amazing, love them so much. But the people who were dipping our donuts did not have their masks on properly, and the toppings on some donuts got an others which was disgusting it was very sloppy. And the wait was like 30 minutes.

Fantastic donuts! If you're worried about the "long wait" review, don't. You're on vacation. You have 10 min to wait for great donuts. These people pump out THOUSANDS of donuts, MADE TO ORDER, per hour. They're faster than any donut store you've ever been to, without question. And I can't tell you how fantastic hot fresh donuts are! Ignore the haters, this place is a gem!

Made our first stop here on our way into OBX this year. The donuts are great! We initially stopped in at around noon on a Saturday and there were just a few people waiting. Later on in the week, we had to restock and there was a long line just to get in the door before they opened.

Hot donuts! So delicious! Only problem is you will definitely have to wait to get them. When you arrive, you fill out an order form with the number of donuts you want and what topics you want on them. After a wait, where you can watch the donuts be created, then you will get a box of amazing warm donuts! I wouldn't plan to go here everyday of your vacation, but it is worth it to stop at least once. Just try to time it to go early, so there won't be a long wait.

These donuts are amazing.

The range of flavors and toppings is impressive. You select your flavors and they're made to order on the spot. The only downside is that you might be waiting a while if someone has a big order.

The only way you'll leave here disappointed is if you don't like heavy donuts. They can be pretty dense (as in don't swim after or you might sink).

Donuts are always great, but the wait sucks. Got in line at 7:02 & was in line for a hr before I ordered. After order was place it only took bout 10min. Staff was very friendly. They could use a bigger store front.

Few things are better than a fresh Duck Donut. It's very unique to have fresh made donuts for every batch and the donut styles are also unique. That said, this place is no secret and most mornings everyone will be scrambling to get in line. When I say line, I mean it goes out the door all morning. I arrived at 8am and waited 45 minutes. So plan a large window into your mornings if you are planning on getting a dozen. The donuts are really good, you just have to balance that against spending your morning in line.

Got the cheesecake assortment. Donuts were delicious. Coffee and service was great.
