Duck Donuts

While on vacation many people told me I needed to try this place and so I obliged and I'm so glad I did. With so many great create your own donut combinations I left with a half dozen of the best donuts I've had in a long time. The staff were friendly and the quality outstanding. This place will definitely be a part of our vacations from now on.

I got a full dozen before going to the house on the 4x4 beach.

Whole family loved them and they went fast.

Wish they had a branch in Maryland and I'd definitly try them up here.

Will pick up more on my next trip down for vacation.

If you ever make it to the Outer Banks then I suggest you stop I'm and visit Duck Donuts. All their donuts are made fresh to order and the combinations they allow you to pick and choose almost seem limitless. They don't do filled donuts but you will still get a treat. They also offer great coffee for a reasonable price. I definitely recommend this place.

Slightly crispy on the outside. Like cake on the inside. Oh and they are hot. Order by the half dozen, flavors range from the simple plain, chocolate, and cinnamon, to peanut butter or maple. You can combine with toppings like coconut and sprinkles. If there are no fresh donuts you will have to wait but it is well worth it.

Still as delicious as I remembered it to be. Due to Covid, they have modified hours when we went, so go very early. For safety, they could direct the line that extends into the parking lot. Nonetheless, a must have when visiting.

Really clean and enjoyable store. There is a viewing window that the kids can watch the donuts being freshly made. They don't skimp on the toppings..the box after the donuts were eaten shows enough left over to top another dozen donuts. Anyone who has visited ocean city MD knows fractured prune donuts has a similar business model.

VERY GOOD donuts.. ONLY problem is there is no where to eat them there, not even picnic tables outside. In order to eat them while hot, you want to be able to eat them quick, right?? so in your car?? We sat on the sidewalk in between the parking lots and ate them, which was fine because they were good and messy. I had 3 adults and 4 kids with me. ;)

Place was paaaaacked at around 8:30am. We were able to place our order and get coffee quickly but the donuts took about 45 mins. They had a very streamlined system though and we feel they did a great job considering the amount of customers (line out the door) and store sardine packed full. Order was correct and so so sooo good. I would wait again. Unlike anything I've ever had!

A must stop when in OBX! Love their specialty donuts like the s'more donut! 😋

Duck, you never do me wrong! Wow, I love Duck Donuts. I don't think I've ever eaten a donut that I enjoy more than Duck. They are hot and fresh. The toppings are delicious, the batter is so SO good. I love that Duck Donuts has the ability to put a huge smile on my face and in my belly!
