Coffee on the Rocks

We were there when they turned the coffee shop into a haunted house for Halloween. So much fun! The coffee and pastries were good, too. P.S. - They also have tons of costumes and do the BEST custom portraits, including wanted posters.

Such a cute little coffee shop that welcomes people and pets! The coffee was yummy, their muffins were delicious and our pup loved their free treats!

Tourist trap. End of discussion. The coffee was weak and flavorless. I also ordered a hot chocolate and received a cup of mildly chocolate flavored water. The pastries were refrigerator cold. And to top it all off, the staff was unfriendly and off putting. Definitely will not return.

Neat little spot to get some memories made! We got our old time pictures taken here and had a really nice time of it. Simple and inexpensive! Thank you!

Coffee and pastries

Our family find ourselves coming back to this place since we first visited Chimney Rock in 2011. I read some people compare it to Starbucks, but all I can say is ..... this cafe is so much more!!! The lovely atmosphere, friendly owners, great coffee and more than anything cosy, warm and originally decorated this coffee shop has become my favorite! I secretly wish I can live closer and visit it more often for an early morning coffee.

Had the best skinny vanilla latte I've ever tasted!! The owner was a wealth of knowledge on where to hike and what to do in the limited amount of time we had. Make sure you stop at Coffee on the Rocks when in Chimney Rock!

Owners are super friendly & kind. Frappe was amazing but the strawberry banana smoothie was the best smoothie I’ve had in a long time! Great experience that I’ll recommend to anyone.

I've been to the Chimney Rock / Lake Lure area five times on vacation, and am an avid espresso drinker. I believe this is the best coffee shop in the area, hands down. Their Chai tea lattes are the best I've had anywhere, and their espresso drinks are excellent as well. On my last stay of a week's duration, we visited approximately six times. I highly recommend Coffee on the Rocks!!
