Coffee on the Rocks

Lovely little shop. The coffee was wonderful and so was the hot cocoa my husband ordered. We bought an apple fritter to share and ended up buying four more for breakfast in the morning. So a great place. A must go place.

Solid coffee that's fair market price for gourmet coffee (4*), apple fritter(5*) & cinnamon roll (5*) were AMAZING! Dog friendly (outside).

I had the worst and most uncomfortable experience at this coffee shop at the end of April 2022 when I was visiting from Florida. Immediately when my Asian family and I walked in, the people at the front acted aloof. (Two old Caucasian males and one middle age barista). No greeting whatsoever even after I said hello. I asked what flavor frappuchinos they have, and the old white guy dismissively pointed his finger to the wall. My parents and autistic brother don’t speak English well, so the whole time while I was trying to explain to them the flavors in the frappuchinos, the two white males were silent and gave us these disgusted looks listening to our Vietnamese language. Even after we acquired our coffees , the main old white guy didn’t even acknowledge us. Another white lady approached the line, and the main guy greeted her with kindness. It’s abundantly clear that people of color are not welcome here with the same respect. I should have not tipped $5 due to them making us feel so unwelcome. Only reason why I did was because I felt so uncomfortable and awkward about the whole situation. I should have stood up for myself and not given these racists any business. It’s 2022, you should be friendly to people of all colors.

Great caramel blended frozen coffee. Nice staff and very efficient. I would recommend coffee here. They welcome dogs.

We Had stopped by this place for a quick breakfast bite and it is such a cozy nice place. The lady at counter is also very sweet. Highly recommended for coffee and limited breakfast options.

Nice small coffee shop in Chimney Rock Village that also offers old timey photos. Coffee is good and worth the stop if you're staying nearby.

I am disappointed I didn't go sooner, all the times I have been to Lake Lure! Went in for the first time recently ...I had my dog with me and didn't think was dog friendly until I went to the door...sooo happy! We were both welcomed by a super friendly employee! She offered my pup a treat as I was looking over my options( she loved it)...I wasn't quite sure I wanted exactly what they had posted so she custom made me a frozen frap...it was delicious!! She was very helpful & friendly. We also got an apple fritter that was very good! I will DEFINATLY go back and I highly recommend it!

My favorite breakfast place near Lake Lure. The customer service is amazing and this place is extremely cozy. The owners always take care of us when we visit and even offer treats to my dog. They have a selection of games so I like to play a game of chess while drinking my coffee. Really love this special place and always end up having great conversations with strangers here. Can’t wait to come back, thank you guys for all you do!

This coffee shop is amazing and a must stop when in chimney rock. The smoothies are also out of this world! Great hospitality and fun decorations filled with history to look at. Stopped here everyday on my vacation and each visit was just as good as the last!

Good coffee in the heart of Chimney Rock Village. Easy steps down to the river while enjoying a latte . Also if you are into them. They do the old time western photos. So go get dressed up and be a cowboy or girl for the moment. Fun for the kids, bridesmaids, groomsmen that pass through the town.
