Coffee on the Rocks

A friend and I went up to Lake Lure for the Easter Sunrise service. As we live a little over an hour away, we left the house at 4:15 am, nearly 2 hours before the gate time. We got lost on the back roads and missed it by 15 min. We decided to get some coffee and went into the store. After we ordered, we went around the wall to where the bathroom is located. The older woman began talking rude about us, saying how we thought we were entitled to be able to show up whenever and be let in and we should have left sooner! This was loud enough to hear through the wall! If it wasn't for the very nice man, I would have left. Never going again!!!!

The Pumpkin Spice Latte is mighty tasty as is the Caramel Frappe'!!! Many choices to satisfy and some tasty bites available to go with the drinks as well! They do an awesome job with the 'Old Time Photos' too! Check it out!

Great coffee in a warm and welcoming environment! The sheriff and his partner were very welcoming and had great snack options before our hike!

My boyfriend doesn’t like coffee yet I always make him try a sip whenever I get some. He had one sip of an iced vanilla latte from here and loved it! One of the best!!!!

Randomly stopped here, and pleasantly surprised by the excellent toffee latte (better than starbucks!) cute little shop too, on the river. Owner was a very nice guy!

The coffee and the breakfast was good. The couple were very friendly. They even rent out costumes! The photos and the paintings tell lots of stories

Great spot to grab a coffee and enjoy it on the Riverwalk! Small selection of bagels, muffins, doughnuts etc and dog friendly.

A damn good coffee!

It was cold & snowed the week that we were visiting....the coffee, lattes & hot chocolate were outstanding and warmed us up!! When we come back we're in for an old time photo!!

We stopped by when we were visiting chimney rock and the coffee was so good! So happy to support a small coffee shop.
