Such a cute coffee spot! The staff are always friendly & welcoming. The vibe of this place just feels good. Love the coffee & pastries, especially the kronuts. Yum!

The Hobbyist has great coffee and a great vibe. I love the frequently alternating taps and the fabulous wine! My wife loved the grapefruit spritzer! We can't wait to come back!

Yesterday, I went to The Hobbyist through recommendation of my coworkers. I’ve heard many great things about this place, and to my surprise, The Hobbyist exceeded my expectations. My friends and I all got the Chai and it was very delicious, probably the best Chai I’ve ever had. And my friends agreed, it was also the best Chai they’ve had and we are obsessed! It had a fresh spiced flavor and was pretty sweet - as though they melted a gingerbread cookie into a beverage. Not only that, the vibes are cozy, classy, and very chic. The barista who served our drinks also had a lovely personality: they were friendly and very funny! Now whenever someone asks where I can find the best Chai, I will immediately say The Hobbyist!!!

Love love The Hobbyist to grab great beer!!! The owners Bryson and Julie know what's going on in the beer and wine market these days! They have their finger on the pulse, if you wish to say.

An adorable little shop on the edge of an upcoming area in NoDa. They serve an excellent selection of coffees, beers, and wines along side delicate pastries and treats. The owners are awesome and the staff is pretty great too. Very friendly and knowledgeable about what they do. It's refreshing to see a shop like this with a modern twist on an old classic. I will be back for a long time coming.

workers ignored us when we ordered, had to ask again where’s my coffee as no one was bothered enough to ask or do anything but 4 workers chit chat instead of working. coffee wasn’t even full in the cup. I’m going to starbucks instead

The capuccino it is real close to the original from Italy. Right temperature, right foam. Great taste. Totally recommended.

I had the Vanilla and Lavender Latte, which is served with real Lavender leaves which brings it to the next level. Extremely friendly staff, live music and cozy seating make for an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend.
