Fantastic Bakery!! Loved the breakfast sandwich and the Apple Uglies!!!

Two words, “Apple Ugly”. This is a great bakery/cafe nestled in the OBX. The baked goods are tasty and the Apple Uglies are anything but ugly. Have not tried the breakfast sandwiches because the baked goods are so desirable. This place should be on your must visit list when you are in Buxton (or within reasonable driving distance). Enjoy an ugly but, please save one for me.

I’d give it a 10 star! The gihugic apple cinnamon fritters were warm and heavenly- a Must! We had 3 kinds of muffins all outstanding ( we’re talking melt in your mouth) banana chocolate chip, orange cranberry, and (my fav) pistachio:) crazy addictive food = chocolate drizzled doughnut holes.
There’s often a line, folks this is worth the wait!

Great breakfast sandwiches, donuts and coffee. The folks here are friendly with a morning kitchen buzzing all around you.

Get there EARLY and a line is long starting at 6:30 am.

So yummy! Best bakery I have tried in the OBX. We ordered a Mondo on a biscuit and an Apple Ugly. Both were delicious and it was more than enough food for two people. Will definitely visit again on our next trip!

Delicious breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Had to wait in line to get in for about 20 min at 10am, but worth it.
