Orange Blossom has been a family tradition since we started going to OBX over 10 years ago. The hype is for real when it comes to the Apple Uglies! Don't second-guess, don't debate, don't hesitate. They will be gone in no time both from the cafe and when you get them home. They're huge, flavorful, and shareable. The servers are kind, quick, and hilarious. You gotta go!

Fantastic! A tiny place on the side of the road. Line out the door! I'd go here every morning. Baked goods and breakfast sandwiches and the impressive Apple Ugly! You won't be disappointed.

This little family-style place is definitely first-come first-served, as they ran out of "apple uglies" shortly after we got ours. We also had some breakfast sandwiches and donuts.
They have a limited menu but all of it tasty and generously proportioned. Show up early before they run out of what you may want! Picture review has my daughter's fist for scale next to an Apple Ugly. We did not need lunch or much dinner after that.
Definitely worth the trip.

This place sells comfort food well worth the calories. You won't go wrong with any of their delicious treats. Make sure to try a cinnamon roll and their famous Apple Ugly pastry. They sell out fast so I highly recommend visiting their shop and placing a pre-order for a different day. They'll have your order ready for pickup based on the time you requested.

Really nice bakery here on the banks. Good food. Good service. OBB MAKES this thing.... well maybe you have heard of it if you been down here. Well it’s called the Apple Ugly. Really big hit here. Every time we come to the Banks. Well my wife has to go. Pretty busy place. So take your time. No need to rush the move pretty quickly.

Don’t be put off by the look! This is a great bakery the apple fritters are HUGE! Get there early to beat the lines if you’re staying in OBX this is something you should do.

Do not miss this place. I am sure when you walk in you will be intimidated by the line...dont be...it moves at a good pace. You HAVE to...i mean HAVE to have the Ugly Apple....to absolutely die for. Filled with slices of apples (not little diced ones you can't even taste like other places) It is the perfect taste.
Also tried the burrito...was very good. Very fresh.
Had a biscuit with egg and bacon. It was ok. The biscuit was dry. Lots of thin bacon on it.
Had a glazed donut...eh...i wouldnt waste my calories on that when the Ugly apple is off the hook. 2 to 3 people could easily share one. Do NOT pass up this place.
Addition to review: we had to go back a 2nd time. This place is a MUST! staff is great also! Apple ugly is the way to go!

We have been coming to Hatteras once or twice a year for several years and have never tried this place. I'm glad we decided to! We picked up 2 apple uglies and an assortment of donuts for our group. Everyone enjoyed them. We will definitely visit again on our next trip down. 😊

Honestly..drove with friends over hour and a half for the famed Apple Uglies. Maybe contained a tablespoon of apple in each. In total we purchased over 10 and no one was particularly happy with them. At least I can scratch it off my list now.
