Orange Blossom Bakery & Cafe

Cute little place. Some say it is run down I say it's well loved. This place has a line out the door almost the whole time they are open. It is well worth the wait. Everything is made from scratch and delicious! We get the biscuits, croissants, donuts, donut holes, and of course the famous apple ugly. All super delicious and not over priced. Must go to this place when tou visit.

My wife has family out in Buxton and she would visit during the summer months. This summer she took me for the first time and spent 1 week. One morning we went to get breakfast for everyone at Orange Blossom. It was amazing! Great taste and selection. I would definitely add this to a stop for any out of town visitors.

LOVE this bakery! We look forward to the Apple Uglies, we just can't visit Avon without going to Orange Blossom. The staff is always super friendly and quick. They have a variety of other bakery and breakfast items too. Enjoy the environment as well. Highly recommend, but get there early!!

The best little breakfast place on the island. Fast service very friendly and the food never disappoints . Fried blueberry pie and the Shadow sandwich, double ham, double bacon cheese lettuce and tomato mayo and onion all on a fresh made sourdough bread. Enough to last you all day !

Oh my word....read about this place in a Facebook group and had to try the Apple Ugly. Yum. Also had a breakfast sandwich and their bread is indeed tasty and held up. The staff is very engaging and friendly. One thing we noticed in the short time we were there is people seem to order stuff and leave, forgetting they had placed an order. One of the things we tried after reading about it, was using the Apple Ugly as the bread for French toast the next day...again delicious!

They had me worried no more apple uglies, then boom more apple uglies. Plus fried pies, donuts 🍩😋and let's not forget a cranberry muffin. Worth waking up early that's for sure.

Early one morning on vacation, we made the trip to Buxton from Nags Head, enjoying the sunrise along the way. Upon arrival, the backery was small and unsuspecting. We may have missed it, if not for GPS. We were curious if the drive for "apple uglies" would prove worthwhile. Make no mistake about it, if you like apple fritters, apple uglies will impress your taste buds & fill your tummy!

Love this place! I’ve only ever gone at around 10am and a lot of things are gone but there is always the apple Uglies! Delicious!

The Buxton sandwich (pictured) was amazing (and also massive). Breakfast burrito was perfect, as well! Great flavor. Looking forward to digging into our apple ugly and fried blueberry pie later!
