The cutest and most legit coffee shop in Bryson City. Honestly, the only place to go for good coffee. Not only that, but the staff and owners are so friendly and HAPPY. The atmosphere is so calming. I’m a local and frequent here on a weekly basis and it’s usually the highlight of my week. Their ingredients are all non-gmo and top quality, which is hard to find in this small mountain town. Lots of great retail items from local artisans, including many women owned artisans and businesses. I love that their cups and wares are biodegradable and you can really tell these people care about quality as well as the planet. They have two outside seating areas, one being in the back for a bit more privacy. Super convenient in the summer for those lake or river days as it’s on the way to both. While Cardinal is not in downtown Bryson, it’s 100% worth the ten minute drive as the coffee and bagels are superior to anything else in the area. Thank you guys so much for being here.

Awesome staff, helpful with the menu, had their own way of doing things. Neat souvenirs in there too (bit pricy but also hand made so understandably so) also one of the best codes I've had in a while.

The white chocolate cappuccino is amazing. And my daughter loves the hot chocolate.

We love cardinal coffee!! Delicious Turmeric Tea! And their cookies are so yummy. I really love the vibe of the place. Probably my only suggestion is it’d be great if there was more seating, but the space is small so I’m not sure that’s possible. Excellent, knowledgeable, friendly staff. So glad to have such a great coffee shop close by.

50 minutes for four drinks and four bagels?!?! All of which were just ok. I hate to leave a bad review on small businesses, especially in areas that depend on tourism, but the owner really needs to be aware that the staff isn’t keeping up or even working at a hurried pace. Definitely need training on efficiency and customer service. We were not the only customers that were highly irritated by their wait.

Been passing by this place when leaving the dragon for a few years, finally decided to stop in. So glad I did! Delicious lattes and snacks!!! Very friendly people as well.

Perfect finish to our visit to Bryson City. Stayed at an Airbnb for the weekend and this was at the end of our amazing trip. Friendly staff and amazing Chai Tea. Definitely worth the stop if you are passing by!!

You get awesome service here every time. The coffee is all hot and fresh. The bakery selection is great. Just make sure youbhave ample time when it is crowded.
