Giving the gift of Stick Boy, truly means love :) It's that good! From their cakes to delicious and creative breads to pies and cookies - they have it ALL - even gluten-free. I'm a local and this is the best bakery in Boone. Anytime I go to a friends for dinner, I always offer to swing by Stick Boy and bring dessert :)

All pies and breads we tried were so fresh and delicious! The service was exceptional and along with the establishment which is very cozy and pretty. Very friendly service received although I didn’t catch her name- but, amazing job!

We tried: Cherry pie, pecan pie, carrot cake, chocolate cake, and apple cheese cake. The apple cheese cake 🍰 was beyond my expectations making it my favorite one of them all. Seriously go try that and thank me later. 🤯🤤🤩

From the breads we tried (ALL FRESHLY MADE) baguette, sourdough, and pumpkin bread, the sourdough bread and pumpkin spice bread are our two favorites!

And so... went back for a second time to buy more pie 🥧 and bread 🍞 to bring back home! Oh, and the house coffee ☕️ was also great!

Love, love, love! The food, coffee, and especially the customer experience! Staff holds genuine interactions to provide an intentional experience to new and returning customers.

Got some Almond Croissants on the way to Linville, they were quite good.

We ordered a birthday cake online for our daughter at Appalachian State University and it was amazing. Tasted delicious and Sara at Stick Boy did a fantastic job! Will order again. We are so pleased!

Nut allergies beware. Stickboy is one of my favorite places in Boone to get a sweet treat, particularly the Awesome chocolate chip cookies I could live off of. Unfortunately on several occasions staff are not familiar with what products (cheesecake, cakes etc) have nut products in them and have caused several close calls. It would be great it it was posted on the little cards or staff paid more attention to what they were handing out/knowing in advance when asked if it was used. Obviously a challenge at a bakery, but could definitely be improved upon in communication to patrons.

I dropped in for a last minute cake for my birthday this year (the day of!) and Stick Boy fixed me right up. I chose the Lemon Lavender Vegan cake they had on hand in the cooler and was very pleased with it! I don’t eat vegan often but this is a fantastic cake for anyone. The flavors were pleasant and the icing was creamy. Go check them out!

I ordered a brookie here (that's what the card said it was and the kid behind the counter asked me three times to be sure that's what I wanted). Should have been a brownie/cookie combo. Instead I got a brownie with walnuts in it. They are very lucky I'm not allergic to nuts because that's a law suit waiting to happen. And I hate nuts in my brownies so I was very disappointed. Chocolate chip cookies were good and my son liked the croissant.

Stick Boy Bakery made and delivered the cakes, pies, and cinnamon rolls for my wedding, the excellence of the service and product cannot be questioned, everything tasted and looked AMAZING!
