I love stickboy! All of their pastries are soo good and you know they make then good. They have them in stock at the coffee shops at appstate and i love them! Their coffee and matcha is great too! Chocolate croissant is my fav!

The salted caramel cheesecake was the best damn thing I have ever eaten. It was heavenly.

I also got the carrot cake as my birthday cake, salad mix, pretzels, molasses cookies and oatmeal cookies. I was expecting the molasses cookie to be amazing but it fell a little flat for me. I think it needed a bit more spices in it.

I would drive the 3 hours there from my house just for the salted caramel cheesecake… too bad it was only available in August.

Edit: just found out the cheesecake is staying for September. I drove 3 hours out of my way to get a slice… 100% worth it.

We purchased our wedding cake from Stick Boy Bread and it was delicious! We went with the classic naked option and added some flowers and a topper ourselves. Everyone raved about the raspberry filling. It was perfect for a summer wedding.

Called looking for a gluten free layer cake. Spoke to Kristen who regretted they did not bake one. She so kindly directed me to two other bakers in the area who could help me. Her kindness and the the high quality of Stick Boys baked goods deserves high praise. Thank you.

Food, fresh breads, coffee, and service all deserve more than 5 stars. Never a bad experience, food is always fresh & delicious. This is our first breakfast stop any time we visit Boone. Keep it up, Stick Boy!

This place has the best bagels and please get yourself a “kitchen chicken biscuit” sandwich, it is amazing!

Place was packed and ten people ahead of me were ordering to go I still got out of there with three sandwiches in less than 15 minutes.

Great food and wonderful staff

Amazing Boone staple. This bakery/coffee shop has the best ingredients and people to help you pick the best things possible. I recommend the magic 🍪 cookies, molasses cookies, chocolate nut smoothie, any of their 🥖🍞 breads, ☕ coffee is great and the specialty 🍰 cakes are delightful. If bread is what you are into, try the cranberry pecan french or pumpkin bread for a slice of heaven in your grill. Seasonal products all year. They also do amazing wedding cakes that are sure to impress. They also have a new take and bake section for their cookies and scones. They also have ♿ handicap accessible parking and restrooms.

The last 6 x I've come here and I ask them if they can heat my sandwich. The cashier says, yes, we can do that. Every time I get the order, it's always cold. I thought it was the kitchen but I realize that the cashier says they can but doesn't input the modification nor tell the kitchen. This has happened every single time. I wish they just said no, we can't if that's the case. I end up having to take it home to heat it myself. I just wish there was better communication on whether the change can happen or not.

Such a quaint bakery. Definitely a spot where you can get in trouble with your waistline but oh so worth it. Life is about indulging and we sure did. We ordered their cream cheese cinnamon roll and the everything cookie. Ordered a molasses cookie too but I think there was a mix up and we got a different cookie instead but still all delicious. Had a simple drip coffee to wake me up and my friend had a smoothie which was a little too tart for her liking. Other than that, it is worth a stop if in the area. It is right across the street from the Appalachian University. The cashier/workers were beyond sweet to us out of towners.

First visit. Glad to see veg friendly options. Got eggs, home fries, French toast, and tempeh. Tropical green tea. Everything was great and staff were friendly.
