My aunt & uncle first moved to Black Mountain in the 1940's, and I first came to visit them in the early 60's. After I inherited the house, I have been coming ever since! When I discovered Dynamite Roasting Company, the trip to Black Mountain isn't complete without our Dynamite coffee!

WNCW 88.7 FM Mountain Morning Blend is some of the best coffee I have ever drank. It was very smooth and had a clean aftertaste. This blend is perfect for casual coffee drinkers and those with a more distinguished taste.

Coffee is decent, but company refuses to respond to social media messages unless you are trying to give them money. Long story short, Dynamite, don't forget how you got started because you are starting to get too big for your own good and customer service is suffering.

Great place to hang out, EXCELLENT coffee, good sense of community with some of the best characters around. If you're looking to sit with your laptop - there's no Wifi, and they don't have loads of froofroo specialty drinks. You can pick up fresh beans to take home (my favorite is Suplicar Clemencia), listen to a record from their fab collection, and connect with other people or read your book while nibbling on a tasty treat. Tip your barista - they deserve it for the awesome drinks!

Some of the best coffee you can find. Quiet and comfortable space. There's no wifi some you miss out on some of the typical tropes of coffee shops like people camping out. Grab a cup of coffee or purchase your own beans to make at home.

It was very interesting and we are impressed with their social concern and interactions with their farmers abroad.
