Lovely little shop, the coffee is slightly darker than other coffee shops in the Asheville area but it still has a lot of great flavors. Definitely recommend giving it a taste. 😉

Interesting coffee shop. Excellent coffee but location is not really the best due to highways on either sides and the decor is pretty sparse. It doesn't feel like an inviting place where to hang out. Hence only the three stars.

Quick and good. Baristas are knowledgeable and the espresso shots are firmly packed and not gritty. The season roasts are excellent, though Autumn is best with an almost chocolate milk mouth feel.

Solid local coffee shop that I purchase all my whole bean coffee through. Our regular go to blend is the decaf esspresso. It is super tasty! When I used to do drip coffee the daymaker was solid too!

Tried a couple of coffee shops in the Black Mountain area while visiting, looking for my favorite. I found it! Delicious lattes and the mocha was 💯👌. Grabbed a few bags of beans for the road!

Lattes were very good, blueberry banana muffin was delicious. Staff was very nice. We'll be back for the chai soon.

Great beans at a reasonable price (you actually get a full pound in a bag rather than 12 ounces as with roasteries back home), well made espresso shots (always a sign that the cafe is good ) plus a record player and *lots* of vinyl to choose from, a deck with a view of the mountains (and the highway, rather unfortunately). Friendly staff and some tasty treats. If you want a meal head to the diner next door (The Great Eatery) for some tasty bargain-priced meals).

Serious coffee served by friendly hospitable staff ( without the snotty pretentiousness that I have seen too often in this area). Nice atmosphere. I have been a roaster for 20 years. They know how to treat a bean and a customer.

They have the best coffee in the area hands down. It's a bit more cost wise then everywhere else but it's worth it. Great atmosphere and staff. There's no wifi but it's kinda nice to just relax and drink coffee for a change.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. They informed me I would get 4 espresso shots in my wife's iced latte, and let me have one as a shot instead. Cold brew was complex and delicious.
