Almost a year later and this place still had the best London Fog I’ve ever had. Also good cinnamon rolls. The guys running it were super nice. The inside needs some decorating

Welcoming coffee shop with trendy decor. Plenty of place to sit and enjoy your coffee, with several seating areas of either couches or tables and chairs. Coffee selection offers typical choices of creations, similar to Starbucks, using local coffee brands and bakery goods. The barista was friendly and quick!

Traveling though Banner Elk and stopped in. Not only was the coffee great but their bagels was just as good. Wish this business was located in my home town.

This place is warm and cozy. It is full of books and has stable wifi. The staff treat you like family. I always stop here when I'm in town. Oh, and the coffee... There is such a wide array of selections that you could easily get bogged down with the choices.

I love this coffee shop. Everytime we are in town this is my go to place. They have REAL tea, great coffee and their hot cocoa is spot on.
The staff is pretty awesome as well. ♥️

They made me a dairy-free smoothie! No fresh fruit, but it was good. The guy behind the counter must have been filling in, because he seemed a little scatter brained and stressed. He was so kind though. I'd go back!
There is a lot of room inside. Many tables.

Indifferent staff, didn't pre warm my cup before pouring my espresso even after I asked. I asked for additional items without being acknowledged. Coffee was good, but I would think there are better baristas in the area.

Unfortunately, don't think they have cleaned the machine lately. My cappuccino tasted burnt ! Yucky! 🤮 Waste of money!

Mountain Grounds is the best coffee shop I've been to in a long time. Their chai lattes are incredible and the service has always been so friendly. Such a welcoming little shop!

This is a local version of Starbucks. Great coffee's and tea's. The baked goods are excellent. Worth a try.
