I decided to give this place another try, after having a disappointing experience a month prior. Before they closed and reopened, I loved going here. This time, I ordered a coffee and an almond croissant. It was $9.50 before tip. The croissant was big- which made me excited, but the inside was almost raw and very doughy. I couldn't eat it and had to throw it away. Truly disappointing. I guess fool me once- shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me. I would not recommend this place. truly disappointing. go to OWL bakery instead. It's just down the road!! 295 Haywood Rd, Asheville, NC 28806

Had the best chocolate croissant of my life here! Cold brew was also perfect. I love atmosphere and all the employees were incredibly nice!

West End Bakery is back y'all. Picked up a couple of breakfast sandwiches, a cinnamon roll, and a couple of croissants...did not disappoint. Service was fast and so kind. So glad to have them back in the neighborhood.

My fiance brought me home a donut for my birthday - it was delicious

Solid spot. Note: the menu has changed in the last year. The current menu is in their website; or uploaded here. Bummed they don’t have the vegan sandwich anymore! It was one of my favorites.

Under new ownership.
Our favorite stone ground mustard... Gone...
Bialy bread... gone...
Hickory nut gap sausage... Gone...(I think?)

Surprisingly, that sausage egg and cheese is still amazing.

Sense painting it purple and reopening this place has once again become my favorite.
The staff are friendly and greet me by name everytime i come in. Every snack or treat i get becomes my new favorite, everything tastes amazing especially the brioche doughnuts!
Whenever my clients are craving a snack i send them down to go get something tasty!
Love this place so so much

Staff are amazing so these two stars don’t reflect how sweet they are. Just since they reopened I was hoping for a solid breakfast place. It appears that the basic egg sammy is pre cooked reheated eggs. The burrito is definitely pre frozen bc it was cold in the middle. Just way too expensive for frozen food 😬

I only give it 2 stars because of the plant cutting they had for sale on mother's day. The place is a little to expensive for the food that we ate. It wasn't anything special and it took over an hour to get our food. The people in front of us got their sandwiches AFTER we did, an the people behind us got it before everyone. I work in the industry so ya I noticed 👎.. (Mind you it was all sandwiches? ... How does it take an hour to make a sandwich? Honestly I really wouldn't recommend going there, but if you would like to purchase some cute plants then definitely go buy but they're a little pricey too so be warned.

Went in today and realized that the bread here is the best in town! They always have sandwich loafs and a good bit of artisian loafs too!
