My husband has been in Watkins Glen for work this week and his birthday was Thursday. I wanted something sweet delivered to his hotel to celebrate and called Glen Mountain Bakery in the hope they'd be able to help. Not only did they tell me they could prepare a package of their pastries for him, they also delivered and included a handwritten note with the goodies. The people I spoke with on the phone were incredibly nice and happy to help, and my husband raved about how delicious his birthday treats were! Thank you, Glen Mountain!!

Popped in for a takeout breakfast and coffee on our way out of town. We were very happy with the whole experience. The shop itself is very welcoming and the coffee & food were both delicious!

Amazing! We were looking for fresh non-chain coffee while camping and found this place
We each got a breakfast sandwich and we were talking about ordering another to take with us!
Everything is homemade and delicoous.
The homemade chai was fantastic! We will be back

Wish I had a chance to try the food here. Went there on a Sunday morning at 10am, the place was hopping. Waited at the counter for 10 mins to order breakfast finally got the attendant’s attention just for him to come over and to tell me that it’s a 45 min to an hr wait, no hi or nothing. Management needs to look into improving customer service at this place. Anyway that’s my two cents folks.

Okay. Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff for me, despite other reviews. The food was just okay, but the price was right. Avoid the "specialty drinks." They are a major ripoff at $5, it's basically coffee with tons of sugar.

Visited GM on a Tuesday noon in Mid Sep of 2015. It was part of a day trip from Rochester, New York. We had asked a person at the Watkins Glen State Park gift shop for a recommendation of a place to find a sandwich. She recommended Glen Mountain Market and gave us directions on how to get there. We found the place clean and appealing. The menu was a pick-it-up and select what you want and order it from the person behind the counter. There were also specials on a chalk board. Both of us selected a sandwich, the dominant item on the menu although there were plenty of salads to choose from as well. We selected a Focaccia bread with Turkey, Swiss Cheese, Hard Boiled eggs, sprouts, lettuce and tomatoes with Mayo. Included were chips and a dill pickle in a plastic basket. Whilst the sandwich was being assembled I ambled over to the other side of the room and ordered a Latte, my spouse a Chia. The young man behind the counter was helpful in identifying the "good stuff" for us. He promptly put it together and after we paid for drinks and the sandwiches we sat at a round table with a couple of chairs while the sandwich assembly continued. Traffic outside the door consisted of a lot of large 18 wheelers. When I asked the Barista, he explained that the road outside was US-14 and a link between two Interstates that the truckers liked to use. The road noise wasn't bothersome. I heard my name called and rose to get the sandwiches. They were made from fresh bread that was made in the shop (so I was told). The sandwich was large and we ended up taking half of it home to devour that night. The ingredients seemed fresh and attractive to the eye and a delight to the pallet. I've not been in Watkins Glen for over 30 years. This place alone may bring me back more frequently. It will be a major part of our day trip memories.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Creative and delicious coffee recipes and lots of great food options. Vegetarian and vegan friendly! Try the Seneca Valley Veg!

If they wanna be gourmet :
They need to professionally train their baristas not to scorch their shots & refresh the coffee pots every hour. But theyre on point qith their tasty & overpriced sandwiches! $7.50 for a dirty chai (tea bag $2 and a shot $1). No tip, sorry not sorry

The bakery is amazing. The sandwiches are fantastic! They offer a wide variety that is unlike other sandwich places. The entire place is extremely clean. I highly recommend them for lunch.
