Adorable, well maintained whimsical book shop on a side street in New Paltz. Lots of book organization by genre, creative displays. Mix of new and gently used. Great section of Signed copies of books, I was able to get Tribe signed by Sebastian Junger. Well informed, friendly booksellers. Feel free to browse as long as you like. Lots of Cox’s reading nooks

I ordered a copy of one of my favorite books, "The Silence of the Llano," from Inquiring Minds Books via Amazon. This 1982 edition in paperback was written by Rudolfo Anaya. The book arrived at my Albuquerque home in beautiful condition. Thank you for prompt delivery of a wonderful collection of New Mexico short stories!

What a place! Every unique book or cd you could want! I will be purchasing Heidegger's "Basic Writings"... Ok coffee. And a wonderful cast of characters from around the globe wandering in and out. Great for a spiritual seeker, art or fiction lover... With many books for kids.

This is a fabulous bookstore and cafe. A wonderful place to wander around in and explore, and full of cozy nooks to read or meet with friends. A great selection of books at a range of prices and a very inviting atmosphere.

Great selection of books new and used from all kind of genres. Decent vinyl record selections and CDs too. Friendly staff welcomes you and is there at the ready to help.

People giving this place 1 star reviews and in the same breath say they haven't been here, what's up with that? Probably the same people that go into a vegan restaurant and complain they don't serve steak.

This review is about an order I made online. I ordered an out-of-print book from Inquiring Mind because they not only had a copy available but it was the best price I could find online. They must have mailed it as soon as they got the order because it arrived fast and it is in absolutely pristine condition. I couldn't be happier with their service. I did visit the bookstore once when I was visiting there. It is not your cookie cutter chain bookstore. There are no bookstores near where I live now. Saugerties is lucky to have one.

The place is fantastic. There’s everywhere I like. Books, cds, vinyl and coffee. Customer can seat relax and have fun.

I am nothing but satisfied with my interactions with this bookstore. I have not been able to personally visit their store because I live on the other side of the country, but every online order has been sent promptly and with much care. I have never been disappointed with a product. The deliveries also contain a human touch that is just not seen anymore. I can't wait to visit the bookstore in person.

Great place for some old books and new books as well as vinyl records and CDs. Staff was helpful and friendly. A definite stop if you are in Saugerties.
