Nice coffee, pastry and lunch place by one of the best bread makers of Hudson Valley. Go here if you want a really good cup in Rhinebeck. And of course you can buy the best Sourdough bread here.

Loved this place. Very nice staff, great coffee, terrific food and free tasters. Good place for breakfast and doing a bit of work (free WiFi). Wheelchair accessible I believe although a bit narrow at parts.

The food can be described as "lovely presentation, trendy menu items, passable service, unmemorable food"… but there's a "BUT" … the most wonderful local spot for impromptu, welcoming, and erudite conversations about anything from local issues to international issues to catching up on family.

Always fresh and yummy food.

Very shocked to get home after ordering the Nordic Salmon ( actually lox) and bearly seeing a sliver piece of lox. That does not constitute what a truly lox sandwich should be, not here in New York or at any Kosher deli or any deli for that matter. I felt totally robbed !! The description is very misleading and very deceitful !! Give at least four slices of lox and than charge $4 or $5 extra bucks, that would me more responsible and make your menu description look like what it is your getting. Very disappointed in what tries to be a community café! Don't see how you have your customers interest at heart!!

Bread Alone has a few locations and all are exceptional. The food is great and the workers are all are friendly and hardworking. Stop i or breakfast or dinner and take some stuff home for during the week.

Bread Alone in Rhinebeck is wonderful. The baked goods are fresh, tasty and reliable. The sandwiches delicious. The people are warm and welcoming. Fresh daily.

I recommend the soups, sandwiches and the sourdough bread here. If you're here in the weekend, plan for a 20+ minute wait between walking in the door and walking out with your order.

Excellent sit-down food menu with a cozy rustic ambiance, and plenty of breads and pastries to go. Also functions as a walk-in cafe. Maybe a bit pricey, but that's the village of Rhinebeck.

Always an enjoyable experience. Love their olive loaf and multi grain. Sandwiches are very good, too! Have never been disappointed.
