Food was amazing. The combination of fresh ingredients and flavors math our mouths water. The staff was also very attentive and all smiles.

A very cool bakery... stop in & grab a yummy coffee, too!

Ehh... for a place so well known for its bread, I just wish the bread was better. We've bought from them at numerous locations including the main bakery and it's just not that great - not bad by any means, but about on par with Whole Foods bakery in both quality and price.

Love the bread selection, egg and cheese on broche was excellent. Friendly staff. Worth the visit for breakfast.

Love this place when we're in the area.

Eaten here several times. Sometimes it's great, other times not. On a recent visit we ordered and shared two sandwiches. The Bahn Mi was delicious. The pork sausage (house made apparently) was moist, livery and deliciously seasoned. The sandwich was crisp, rich, and well balanced between sweet, earthy, salty and tangy. The spice (despite the addition of jalapenos) was fairly mild. In contrast, the flank steak and onion confit sandwich we also ordered was inexplicably bland. The "confit", which should have been unctuous and carmelized, was actually barely softened onions that were unfortunately the most prevalent ingredient in the sandwich. The meat was cut in big chunks, so that biting into a piece pulled the remaining hunk out, leaving nothing inside. The arugula was a bitter note, lacking any other flavor quality. The aioli was somehow flavorless, being almost impossible to discern. And finally the bread (which is Bread Alone's signature) was soggy and yet somehow the only discernible flavor was "burnt".
That two such wildly disparate sandwiches came out of the same kitchen at the same time was curious at least.

You have to love this place, you enter through an incredible bakery, they serve breakfast and lunch in the back room. I actually drive about an hour and a half to enjoy the bakery and the Rhinebeck area in general.

One of my favorite places for breakfast, brunch and lunch in Rhinebeck. Great healthy / healthy'ish selections with very fresh ingredients.

The staff behind the counter lack a basic understanding of hygiene. Scratching their head or tucking in their shirt while wearing sanitary gloves, and then touching your food with the same gloves is normal for them.
The management obviously does not care about your health, and cannot be bothered to train and supervise the staff when it comes to maintaining safety and hygiene.

Friendly, clean & delicious. Wonderful baked goods, breads, muffins, special fancy morning buns.....I could go on & on. Surely worth a visit again, again & again. I will sur err ly go back !!!!
