Under Pressure Coffee

First time at Under Pressure Coffee Cafe in Astoria. Definitely is my new go to place. The staff is friendly and welcoming and is a great place for breakfast or anytime you want to just relax with tea or coffee and have a treat from their vast variety of options.

Good cappuccino. Although I would prefer medium size to have 3 doses of cappuccino instead of 2 like the small one with just more milk

Great friendly staff! Had a perfectly made cortado and even got a great feta cheese pie! Highly recommend 😊

Wonderful place. Clean and well designed. Great coffee. Beans roasted on the spot. Not expensive compared to other places. Freddo Espresso highly recommend! Bougatsa one of my favorite dessert is so good here. Good job!!

Great coffee. Variety of bakery. Many seats for working or reading.

Solid latte. Great selection of Greek pastries. Service was super friendly. Fast wifi and AC inside. Some outdoor seating. Good place to get some work done.

We get our morning breakfast/coffee delivered from these guys virtually every day. The pastries are incredible- I recommend trying the bougatsa, the koulouri, and the spinach pie- and the coffee is the best I’ve had in this area. They use this wonderful roast that is just the right amount of bitter and isn’t too acidic; it pairs perfectly with their baked goods. I’m looking forward to popping in sometime to try everything fresh, but even delivered it’s wonderful. They’re also one of the rare restaurants that care about the takeout experience- everything is packaged to travel well and if they’re out of something they’ll send another item to take its place and it’ll be just as good.

Don’t order traditional matcha … it tasted like water

Very clean, good selection, BUT - they don’t make a regular iced coffee. In the dead of summer. All they offer is cold brew, which is basically high octane. For those of us who might want a refreshing iced coffee (from, you know… a coffee shop), this is not the spot.

Love y’all’s bulletproof coffee, but the lids COME on! You can’t go 20 feet from this place before the lid cracks and coffee gets all over you. Happened both times I’ve visited.
Come on now - invest in better materials.
