Under Pressure Coffee

Under Pressure has a brand new gorgeous space! Plenty of seating options in the new cafe space and even more outside options. Overall ambience is good, just like the old spot.

The coffee is always good and the staff is super friendly, their drip coffee leans to the darker side.

They have plenty of standard coffee shop pastries and a few Greek classics to chose from, but I didn’t get one this time around. Definitely going to try more of their food options on my next visit.

I’ve always wanted to visit here and finally here I am!! The store looks very nice and I love the design and the industrial look of it. It has in door and out door seatings. I got the large ice latte and it tasted very good! I’m very happy for the price it’s only $5.69 definitely worthy and made my day! Will visit again soon! Five star because of the best spinach pie of my life- so good I ordered another one and ate it entirely.

It’s funny because I came here for the espresso due to the name but the americano underperformed - it was weak for me. Came here for the coffee, stayed for the spinach pies 😅.

It was a nice cozy place! The matcha tea and a donut I got was so so but I'd come back for the place to chill! The train sound is a bit loud though.

We visited Under Pressure Espresso Bar with a group of five people for afternoon coffee and dessert. The decor is bright, simple and cozy.

There is a great variety of options from drinks, desserts, pastries to ice cream. We had their coffee, ice cream and brought 2 muffins home. The coffee was not the best but pretty decent enough.

Our favorite was their ice cream and it was creamy and flavorful. The muffins were delicious and we would like to try their cookies especially the ube flavor next time.

The staff was friendly and attentive. They helped us move the table and umbrella to fit our request with patience.

They have two locations one in Astoria and one in Whitestone both are great. They have grab and go items such spinach pies, sandwiches and deserts. My favorite is the potato pie, it's something you usually just find when in Greece and the bougatsa is tasty! The coffee is excellent you can tell it's been carefully sourced and roasted. Service is fast and employees are pleasant.

Update the Astoria location has moved a few doors down to the corner which is much bigger. I see some new items such as sandwiches and small desert cakes.

Loved the coffee and the pastries—the environment is a bit loud since it’s right next to the subway.

Great staff, big open windows make the place really open up. Good crowd. Strong iced coffee. Vegan spinach pie is better than the std one IMO.
