Quality coffee and nice, knowledgeable staff. Huge plus that they always have non-dairy milks. I love how they have their tea and coffee beans out for customers to smell. They are all so unique and fragrant. You have to try their Turkey blend!

Restaranteur Cyrus Kabir opened this caffe to share his relentless passion of great coffee and tea. My first visit to the Cyrus: Chai &Coffee Co was at the recommendation of a friend. I have since stopped by whenever in the area. Okay maybe I've made the occasional detour to enjoy the coffee this beautiful place.

My first taste was that of a coffee from Yemen. The recommendation was to order black, no sugar. I did and was blown away by the taste and lingering aroma.

Lately I've been enjoying the Zimbabwe reserve blend which is now roasted on Long Island. Which has also has a unique and incredible taste and aroma.

A great place for those in need of a cuppa.

Hands down, bar none, greatest coffee I've had in my life. Cyrus age and roast the coffee beans themselves, and the love and care they put in truly shows.
When ordering, the first thing you realize is how knowledgeable and passionate the employees are. They can answer most any question about coffee you may have. The care they put into the brewing process is obvious as well.
The coffee itself is near indescribable. The aroma and flavor must be experienced to truly understand. It may be hard to believe at first, but Cyrus does not adulterate the beans in any way besides aging and roasting. The coffee is unlike any other I've had in my life.

I no longer live in Bay Shore, but I make a point to grab a cup and lb of beans whenever I'm in the area. If you're a fan of coffee in any way at all, you cannot go wrong with Cyrus.

There's just something about a cup of coffee so good that it's BEST without adding creme or sugar to. If that's what you'd like to enjoy, Cyrus: Chai & Coffee is the place to go!

Came here on a date. It's small, quiet, right off the train and the tea was good. Haven't tried the coffee yet but I've heard good things. Staff was cool. The place has an easy vibe about it and even when it started to get a little busy I never felt like I had to yell to be heard or strain to listen. The price is about midrange - at least for what I got - but man, is it worth it. All-in-all, this is a great little known place right off the Bay Shore line with a chill atmosphere. One might even say "romantic" but that all depends on the company. Enjoy!

Great cup of coffee...not to strong, not too weak...not overly roasted, not under roasted...just right. It just takes like coffee should taste, without any additional flavors - simple. It's sort of like Poland Springs vs tap water..it tastes better naturally.
They didn't have skim milk, so I went home and added my own, but the coffee is so good it's not a big deal.

This place is great! It feels like a laid back Mom and Pop's place. Any coffee or tea you want to try you can get a whiff of from a tight sealed mason jar. It is on the small side therefore I imagine there are times it is more convenient as a grab-and-go rather than waiting for a seat to open up. But I really enjoyed my tea and pastry so I definitely recommend:)

To begin, I was very confused how to order from this place at first - but the two people working explained that the signs on the counter are the specials or pour-overs available (hot or iced). I ordered an iced Mexican pour-over with oat milk and light sugar and it was absolutely excellent - hints of cocoa, with excellent flavor and smoothness beyond any iced coffee I've ever had. Highly recommended!

Went here for a quick stop after a vacation to Fire Island and I am not exaggerating- it is the BEST coffee I've ever had in my life. I live in New Jersey and my boyfriend and I had to get it shipped to us because it's that good. Cyrus is a really nice person and if you're in Bay Shore, you should definitely check this place out. You will not regret it!

My favorite cafe in Bay Shore,Ny! Everyone working there is lovely and the coffee is exceptional!- Cyrus is a very kind and positive person and so is the whole staff working there. Definitely worth a visit,and a great place to sit down and do school work /work.
