I like to come here on the odd rare occassion s that I can with my uncle, as he used to live nearby it. Staff are the nicest, easygoing people I've ever met, and the whole place has this nice vibe of tranquility going through it. The variety of coffee beans from several parts of the world is a nice approach to things, and totally worth the cost. Their teas and chai services are unique and each brewed tea has a nice array if flavors. These people take passion in their work, don't underestimate the small space and the wait time for poor service. Take it at face value of what it is: Fresh brewed coffee, pour-over style, and fresh tea served got or cold, both each with different, lovely flavors. Glad I can get the beans purchased for home use. Love me those beans from Zimbabwe and Hawaii, personally, and as for tea, I recommend the Chai Thai Spice.

Cyrus is probably the most conventionally-located coffee shop in the tiny hamlet of Bay Shore. It's at most 100 Steve steps (gotta love Blues Clues) from the train platform to Manhattan. It even has quick parking in front, in case you're just popping in for a cup before heading on your morning drive.

This place has stepped up its game massively since I last came by a few years ago. Baked goods, tea, bagged coffee beans, and even growlers adorn the counter of my favorite local shop. There's a handy been sampler up front where you can sniff and read about the beans featured today. However, I think that once you try the Brazil with its hint of peanut butter, you'll never need another flavor again. The tables are accompanied by outlets with built-in USB 2.0 charging ports.

My only qualm here, and I really wish I had none, is the speed. The place is typically manned by a single person, meaning if more than one customer orders a drip coffee, be ready to wait a few minutes. I'd recommend popping with a few minutes to spare before your commute, don't risk standing in line and having to run when your train approaches.

This place ruined coffee for me. There is no other coffee on the planet as flavorful and delicious as the coffee made by Cyrus right here. I've checked.

However, the coffee isn't all that keeps me coming back. The staff is charming, friendly, and knowledgeable; take a seat at the bar, have a conversation while you're drinking your coffee, and time will melt off the clock real quick.

No coffee shop compares to Cyrus: Chai &Coffee Company

Cyrus and the whole staff are just good people. This place is fundamental to my morning routine. All the coffee is awesome. I’m quite found of the Mexico and Turkey. Stop in and grab coffee. You’ll be happy you did. Support small business.

Best coffee around. There is a selection of coffee beans in jars at the counter for you to sample-smell. The flavors of the coffee are so rich and delicious. My favorite is Zimbabwe but they also have Brazil, Turkey, and others. The decor is rustic and trendy with a nice display of teas sat on wooden boxes. Attracts the hip, younger crowd.

Amazing shop. I come here every time I'm in the area. He has amazing coffee and you can smell different flavors of beans. Tube coffee tastes great. They also have pastries.

Once I came in Imagined their place more presentable, it didn't had that pleasant look. On the other hand i was sitting there for half-an-hour made me feel tranquil like I'm that guy at the bar looking for some wise talk. The variety of coffee beans and tea blends showed effort to bring the curiosity of customers to taste all coffee. I give my recommendation to come.

Place is nicely decorated, very clean and aesthetically pleasing. However, the employee serving us was extremely rude. He seemed burdened by the fact that we wanted to sit inside. Due to their policy, we were not allowed to drink out of our own water bottles or eat our own snacks. He went so far as to force us to HIDE our water bottles so that other customers wouldn’t see them. It was very bizarre. I then discovered there was no bathroom, at which point he directed me to a 711 down the block across the train tracks. Very inconvenient and unpleasant experience. The coffee was decent, accounting for the one star on this review.

Nice staff, try the "turkey" it's a great blend. Would be nice if they had a bathroom for customers. I'd honestly like to sit there and do work but don't wanna end up pissing myself 🤷🏻‍♂️ so they get 3 stars. Would be cool to have aeropress coffee too.

Great place to get awesome quality coffee. The environment is lovely and the staff are super friendly. They have great food for vegetarians but I'm a meat eater so it would've been nice if there was at least one or two options that has meat. Other then that, you have to go and try it.
