Amazing find of the most interesting well prepared unique foods: blueberry Rose latte/2x baked pistachio croissant/dark chocolate croissant/grain bowls - had them all!!! Staff was helpful/informative/friendly/lovely!!! Will be back anytime I'm near Ghent,NY!

Food was good. Not too many places around it. Beware of the brunch menu on the weekends because the regular day menu has more options. But still worth a stop. They have a nice selection of teas if you like tea.

The service here is awful. I've been a handful of times and each time it seems to get worse. On my recent visit I went in to get a pastry and coffee to go and it was like I was invisible. The older man behind the counter, who seemed to be the manager or owner couldn't care less that I was standing there waiting. I waited for 10 minutes (not exaggerating) to be acknowledged while he re arranged the muffin display. He asked 3 different waitresses to get my coffee, none of them did. He was standing right next to the coffee, I guess the muffin arrangement was more important than a customer.

Get the baked goods and coffee from here take out - five stars. Stay for brunch and order other things (skillets) and you might be disappointed - three stars (we had a greasy skillet, mediocre plain ol' breakfast; service was somewhat aloof - well-meaning youngsters who need better guidance/oversight from management - they did fine, but not what I expected from Bartlett House, from what I heard from friends)

The food here is top quality and interesting. I had french toast made with bread baked on the premises with blueberries and ricotta cheese, and a great cup of coffee. Worth the drive!

Cherry cornmeal scone was great. The cookie, muffins and sandwiches were quite good too. Super cute place and very tasty.

Bartlett house brings you back to a gentile era to an architect Uralic style you could never achieve today though 10th century footprint every modern amenity is integrated . It’s interior&its porch seating & gardens r as stunning to look at as their food is to eat. It’s worth the wait if they r booked & don’t forget to get something to go from their bakery.

Bakery food is great although pricey, but worth it. Ham and cheese croissant is addictive. I love the cornmeal and cherry scone.

Snuck us in without reservations on a Saturday night, and it was fantastic! Great breads to start with, and the French themed cusine was very authentic. Highly recommend it if you're in the neighborhood.

Great brunch place. Even if not very hungry, I'd recommend just the bread basket, which has really good fresh bread. Nice atmosphere and kind staff as well.
