The coffee here is usually great. But the last time I went , my latte was bitter tasting and awful. They exchanged it but the second one was the same. They need to clean the espresso machines. The rugs and floors also look dirty and overall the entire place needs a deep cleaning.

If you've never been here before, know that there is a $10 minimum for credit/debit cards which is pretty annoying. There wasn't too much seating space indoors and the flow of the shop made it awkward to order. Aside from their beverages, theres no prices on anything so you have to guess how much things are which is annoying. I ordered a vegan brownie (it was ehh) and an almond croissant (which was pretty good) and my friend had orange, cranberry scone which taste good but was dry. The coffee is nothing special but it did its job in giving me my caffeine fix.

Not your average coffee shop. Great for their flavored coffee. I have a biscotti iced coffee at least 2x a week

Awesome place.

It is one of favorite Bronxville coffee shops.

This is by far a more established than the other shops, from my current experiences (will update if incorrect). Good flow and service.

They have a particular system.
Not big franchise feel.
Unique.

It might become your spot.

One star is too generous but it’s the only way I’ll be allowed to post. I was disappointed today when two out of three baristas were not covering their nose and mouth—one had no mask AT ALL and the second was wearing her mask below her mouth. When I voiced my concern, I was responded to in a dismissive manner. Taking my business elsewhere. So much for trying to support a favorite local business.

This is my favorite coffee shop. The staff is wonderful, friendly and very accommodating. I always feel my business is greatly appreciated. I highly recommend getting your coffee, tea, etc, here. They have a great selection as well!!

One of the best places in Westchester. Have been coming here since I was a toddler. I remember playing games in the back with my babysitters, frequenting as a teen, and now occasionally working remotely here as an adult. Slave is a huge part of any local’s life and will continue to be. It is unfortunate they’re renovating, though. There was something so special about their old school charm and quirky interior.

Not the best coffee, it always smells amazing in here though and it’s not too pricey. I loved the iced chai lattes but stopped getting them after I asked to see the tea they use. It’s an instant tea mix with milk powder and some weird preservatives and dried hydrogenated oils.
The staff is usually pretty inappropriate. They’re nice to customers but always on their phones (not a huge deal, they still pay attention to customers) and they have conversations that are inappropriate to have in front of customers, ie about getting drunk on the weekend and gossip about their friends. Really odd.
3 stars for the charm of this small town coffee shop but 2 stars for what your paying for.

My first time and won't be my last. Love the decor. Workers were excellent and very friendly. Coffee was excellent as well. To me better than Starbucks. If you love java, this is the place.
