I’ve come to Bronxville for years, and for whatever reason I haven’t visited Slave to the Grind until now. The coffee is absolutely delicious. They always have different flavors. The shop has a ton of character and the staff is great. Definitely my new favorite coffee shop. I’ll be coming here from now on.

This is my second visit. Nice vibe , friendly staff.
I got a funky monkey, it was good. The coffee are quite large for the price
I really enjoy their ice tea selection as well.

Nice little coffee spot but had tea so can't really speak to the grind part of things 😂. Tea was Stash brand which has flavor. Did order a muffin and gotta say I've had better from stop and shop!

Mocha is a dark roast, heavy cocoa notes. Vanilla chai is sweet and enjoyable. Friendly baristas

The staff is usually nice. However, I ordered a medium iced coffee in a large cup with room for a little more oat milk. I was charged for a large coffee JUST for a larger cup. There was no extra coffee in there. If you go to Starbucks or another coffee place, you can order a certain size coffee in a different size cup, and only be charged for the size of the coffee. I think that’s a ridiculous practice, and I almost spent seven dollars and a coffee. This is why small businesses cannot stay in business when you rip people off and become super petty over the size of a cup.

I worked here for about a week. Cleaning and organization are not important here. There was a 15 year old who started when I did and he found mold on the containers where your muffin or scone will come from. He cleaned it up himself. The counter from a baristas POV was hectic: labels were either non-existent or faded to the point where you couldn’t see them.
My time here ended abruptly because on my last night, this same 15 year old made a joke about an employee of 3 years and as a black woman, I made the mistake of laughing because later on that work week, I was notified that I was being fired because the guy of 3 years claimed I wasn’t working and wasn’t playing my part.
The owner said she would “look at the cameras” and “look at them again” but she did not because it isn’t humanly possible there is anything other than me working more than my white complainant on that camera footage.
If you’re of color and considering employment here, don’t.

I've been a Westchester resident all my life, and Slave to the Grind is the best coffeehouse hands down. Been going for as long as I can remember. The only one I've been to in the county that actually feels like a community spot. Really friendly staff and terrific coffee

Dancing Goats blend is forever a fave, iced or hot. Friendly staff, always just the right atmosphere, like an oasis or a retreat. Perfect pick-me-up anytime. So glad I stopped in today.

I wish I had discovered this coffee shop sooner as I'm in Bronxville every week for the past 1.5 yrs. I was greeted and helped by friendly staff who recommended I try my matcha latte with oat milk. It was delicious and now my go to drink when I return. I'm gluten sensitive, so I was happy to see more gluten free variety than most coffee shops offer. There is plenty of seats to enjoy your drink or work, but like that day, it'll understandably be taken. It's a great establishment. Thank you all for your excellent service.
