Grinds 122 Cafe

What great place. food was excellent. Prices are reasonable. We are going back.
Atmosphere is quiet and cozy. Even have a party room and they do catering. We are definitely going to use that this year. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

The food and coffee are good. The only reason that I’m rating 3 stars is based on the service. I went here on a Monday afternoon after the lunch rush and the service is terrible for how much you pay. It was 25 dollars for two coffees and a two sandwiches before tip. And when our food was ready the server didn’t even bring it to our table. We were one of two couples in the place so they weren’t even busy.

A breakfast coffee shop that can't make a egg omelet, a coffee breakfast shop that can't toast a bagel!!! Well I guess you have coffee. What's the purpose of being in business if you don't want to serve your costumers !!

Good all around

So I went to get a Caesar salad from grinds and when I got it I opened it and there was a ton of white chopped onion. So I asked if they normally put it on there and she said no the menu says red onion, she asked the cooks why they did that and they said they were out of red onion and put that on instead. I asked if I could get a new one because the menu said red not white and they refused to give me a new one. They told me I had to buy another one if I don’t want the onion because it was on the menu, no it wasn’t, it says red onion not white, two very different things! Instead of telling the cashier to let anyone know they are out of the red and to ask us if we want white as a replacement, they did it anyway. Any good cook knows red and white is very different. A week before that I got scrambled eggs and hash browns, both were gray in color and inedible. Also few weeks ago I got a chicken Caesar wrap and it came with pink “uncooked” chicken. so again I had to throw out my food and waste my money. I have given them so many times to redeem themselves but I just keep wasting money. No one at my work will go there now either, they all experience what I do every single time. It’s a shame because they use to be good, now it’s horrible. If you want good food, especially an amazing salad in brockport, take your money to the brockport diner. Now that is good food!

We have dined at Grinds 122 Cafe , usually once a month, for their Friday night dinners. I agree with the other posts that the prices are a little on the high side but we didn't mind paying that for a quality meal. On our visit to Grinds this evening, the meal was a total disappointment. Our fish was small and over cooked to the point that a knife was needed to eat it. I had ordered the home cooked chips. In the past, these chips were obviously home cooked. Tonight, the chips looked like something from a store bought bag and not the normally delicious ones I have come to love. This meal was not worth the $12 we paid. The menu stated that the meal came with a dinner roll. When asked, we were told that there were no rolls. Sadly this will probably be our last visit to Grinds 122 Cafe.

Great food and selection. Very tasty coffee...good service. Sat in the extra room. Cool but nice. We had a large group . worked well

Good place for lunch, outdoor seating available when weather permits. Need more types of salads for the work lunch crowd. Greek salad would be awesome!

I have lived in Brockport for a while and always wanted to have a cute little coffee shop to walk to. Grinds is not only cute and a great atmosphere, but the food is amazing and the staff is always very friendly. I'm so glad to have them in the area. My only wish is that they would stay open later! :)
