I genuinely do not understand how the workers are SOOOOOO slow here. Even if it’s not busy at all you’ll prob still end up waiting 45 plus minutes for your food. Idk I gave them two chances and it happened both times, I guess I’ll try elsewhere from now on.

They are under construction right now. Their salads are awesome and my friends say their coffee game is on point. I'm excited to see the end product!

Fantastic music, great prices, and a nice atmosphere this place has supplanted many as my top café spot in the west of the city. What was the deciding factor? Their WIFI actually works! Combine that with better bakery prices than most and you got yourself a fan.

I used to get coffee here all the time. This place needs new management or something. Maybe hire another two workers. You got that one girl in there working by herself, the line is backed up,and the only coffee that I drink (Jamaican me crazy) and it's not even brewed yet in the MORNINGS the time when people come to drink coffee. You guys can do waaay better. I might come back once you guys get more employees. I'm always waiting for coffee at this place. And it's a coffee shop. Coffee should be on deck at all times.

I went for lunch while my husband was getting a operation at URMC next door. I had a salad which was very good and fresh. I got him a bowl of clam chowder for later. He is very picky so I was curious what he thought. He tried it that night and said it was delicious and it had a TON of clams! Now he wants to go back to the west side for more! I also want to add everyone there was super friendly!!

Lunch was wonderful! The cheese of my caprese sandwich was melty basil goodness. My friend raved over her meatball sub too. Definitely going back... hopefully soon.

The service was excellent. The food was good but a bit overpriced. For me, what is important for a cafe is the coffee. The coffee that I chose was described as full bodied but I found it to be rather average.
A couple of weeks after my visit to Grinds, I had breakfast at Coleen's. I chose a dark roast that was really full bodied but not overly bitter. There was a sign by the coffee that said that coffees that were being served came from Grinds. Maybe I had a poor brew at Grinds itself. It's worth going back to find out.

I have eaten there a half dozen times. Their veggie wrap is so tasty. They roast their own beef; its melt-in-your-mouth tender. Each item I have ordered, I could easily ordered again. It's not fast food, so you have to wait a bit, but you can call and order ahead. I highly recommend Grinds!

The only reason I am giving it a two is because the food was average for the price. It really did not give me that feeling, that we need to come back. Was also disappointed in the new policy of no glasses of water anymore. In the past they had a self serve water dispenser in the dining room , gone now. Must have been to much work for someone to go out and fill it. My lunch was over $20 and I can’t have a glass of water? I will not be going back, to me that is bad customer service.

Just wondering how you can go from a place we raved about for their breakfast to what we were served today. Tasteless, just blah is best I can come up with. Dirty table's and chairs. We were early birds so it's not like the morning rush had happened yet. No ketchup in either available bottle. Not the experience I remember.
