I have not had coffee from Evening Star Coffee Roasters that I did not like.
My favorite is Chocolate Avalanche but Jamaican Me Happy is also very good. I can recommend them and have been very happy with their coffee.
I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because I would rather pick up the coffee instead of shipping it because I am so close to them.

Evening Star Coffee Roasters and the owner Jody is a fantastic company. I have been buying coffee from Jody both professionally and personally for the past 10 years. He roasts his beans to perfection and the choices of flavors spot on for any season or coffee preference. His prices are very reasonable. Deliveries are right on time.
Anyone looking for coffee, either professionally or personally needs to look no further.

I’ve been craving evening star coffee since I moved from Rochester about 3 years ago and I finally decided to order my two favorites which are the Highlander grogg and pistachio flavored coffees. I don’t know why I waited to long. The coffees are delicious, I really missed these flavors. Shipping was fast and they even threw in some extra coffee! If you’re gonna support a local coffee roaster, this is a great one to support.

Evening Star makes the best coffee that I've ever tasted, hands down. Since I first tried it a couple years ago, I have not bought another brand of coffee. The only thing I struggle with is what flavors to get when it's time to order because we love every one that we've tried. My wife and I do whatever we can to support local businesses, but this is more than that. Jody genuinely cares about the quality of his work, and about the satisfaction of the people who enjoy it. He treats people like friends instead of customers, and if you want to customize your coffee, he does that too. My wife and I like dark roast, so whenever we order our coffee, we ask for the flavors we like using the Pirate's Blend dark coffee beans. It's truly the best of both worlds. I've recommended Evening Star to every coffee drinker that I know, and it's become one of my favorite gifts to give, because every time that I give it to someone, they love it. The best local coffee - good customer service, reasonable shipping, and better quality than I've found anywhere else. Jamaican Me Happy and Highlander Grogg are my two favorites, but we buy a variety of the flavors they offer.

They also include free sample bags of coffee when you place an online order!

My family and I live in NJ but my wife is from Avon NY so we travel up there every year and spend the Christmas Holiday with her family. For many years we received a pound of Coffee from Evening Star Coffee Roasters and it quickly became one of my favorite gifts each year. In 2019 We changed our gift giving practice and I didn't get any coffee (didn't expect it but I was hoping). Then the pandemic hit and I decided to order 5lbs of whole bean coffee online and I found it so easy and so fresh I've happily continued to order the coffee every few months when I start to run low. The service is outstanding and the coffee is very very very good. I highly recommend trying their coffees. I usually order either the Blonde roast or Fire and Ice.

We have been buying Evening Star Coffee almost since it was established, and we have been purchasing ground coffee online in a variety of flavors. I find that service is prompt and the coffee extremely fresh when it arrives. I also order as a regular gift for my daughter out of the area, and again, it works well. She likes medium-bodied coffees and tells me it is better than anything she can find in New York City. That says something.
We appreciate a good bold coffee and have found Evening Star El Salvador and Black Knight particular favorites. Supporting a local business that strives for quality is our goal.

Great to have a coffee roaster locally. There are so many choices and they are very easy to work with. Answered questions about all the choices to help me decide. Found it very easy to pick up my order curb side. Thank you, can’t wait to try blonde roast tomorrow morning.

Evening Star Coffee Roasters is the best!! I have been drinking their coffee since 2009! Awesome flavored coffee choices and if you don't like flavored coffee, a lot others to choose from! Love, love, love their coffee!! My son is home from College, so I have been sharing with him. He likes iced coffee! Highly recommend buying their coffee.

I ordered online, extremely fast shipping which I appreciated. I also received a freebie which I can't wait to try. However, the blonde roast, their lightest roast, was a bit darker than I was expecting, still a good cup of joe though and you can tell the coffee is of great quality. Can't go wrong with a locally owned and operated business, definitely give them a try!
