Counter Culture

My son and I bike from the east side of Santa Fe to Counter Culture for breakfast. One of our favorite spots and constantly good. It's also bike and dog friendly!

I cannot day enough about this amazing coffee shop and restaurant. The coffee was exquisite and crafted perfectly. The meals are large portions and very well designed. I really appreciated the healthier options and the available vegetarian dishes. Service was wonderful as this was my first time in. They were so gracious in explaining where everything was and how it all worked. Really enjoyed my visit here and would highly encourage all to visit.

Counter Culture was so good! We came back from a long hike and we were starving. This really hit the spot! I ordered a quesadilla with a salad and the salad was absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend.

We are in town vacationing. Our friend lives here and she suggested we do lunch. They have a variety of items on the menu. There’s something here for everyone foodies’ taste. I had the “Culture Club.” It has Turkey, bacon, and avocado on it! What’s there not to like about that? It usually comes with fries but I subbed a salad. Only one drawback. They insist on cash. They have card machines right there at the register. Who carries cash anymore? I found that inconvenient. Someone else had to pay for my lunch, because they insisted on cash. All in all, the food was excellent. We enjoyed it out in the patio area.

I've given up on CC. I used to like it, but there's always something glaringly wrong with what I order. Wrong Chile on a burrito is something I can forgive, but once the blonde counter girl rang in a child's quesadilla instead of a breakfast one for my boyfriend, and countless other things. Today, I got a breakfast quesadilla and only half of it had some egg. The other just had a slab of avocado and bacon. It's always a disappointment. I'd highly recommend going elsewhere, like Tune Up or Palacio Cafe.

Breakfast heaven! Delicious breakfast quesadilla, ricotta pancakes were best ever, good coffee. Can't wait to come back for lunch.

First off - parking here is difficult. Tiny parking lot, narrow access, tiny spots. While the turkey sandwich WAS good, that's about all I can say for this place. I don't understand all the positive reviews. The place has no charm, and the employee who took my order acted like she wished she were anyplace else but there, not friendly at all. And I asked if anything came with the sandwich, & she said salad or fries, but she lied! The salad was $3.00 extra! That is not "with," that is an upcharge. I would have skipped the salad. And the coffee was so-so at best, wasn't even very hot, and at $3.50 for just a drip coffee was just ridiculous. Customer service? None. The customer has to do everything - get your own stuff, napkins, forks etc. So basically $20 for a sandwich and coffee. I won't be back.

Counter Culture is so good that it’s hard to describe, but I will try. The service is speedy and so very polite. The selection of food and drink is so large that I didn’t think they could possibly maintain quality, but I was gladly mistaken. We ordered the “Middle eastern”, which was a large plate of hummus, pita, olives, greens, and some delicious spanakopita to top it off. We quickly destroyed the entire plate of food, and washed it down with a dirty chai as we sat outside on the patio in the shade. This place is great.

Great place yo eat with a varied menu! You order at the counter, get your own water if that's what you're ordering, they'll bring your food to the table and you clean up after yourself and leave the table from r the next person. Has toys and books for kids! Their Thai soup is to die for, that's my favorite, and my sister thought their Caesar salad was amazing!
