Delicious New Mexico Pie!
They have so many familiar pies such as; pecan, blueberry, chocolate and so on.
But when the proprietor said, “this is New Mexico Pie”, I just had to know more.
A NM Pie is an apple pie with green chilis and pine nuts.
“When in Rome…”, Right?
Delicious!
Your choice, warmed or not, ice cream or not.
If you choose the ice cream, [and it’s foolish not to], they serve the vanilla bean type.
Service is extraordinary, everyone working there is friendly and welcoming.

My friend and I travelled 2000 miles to visit Pie town. I wanted to eat breakfast at the Pie town cafe. The place was closed. We drove up to a man puttung air in his tires around the back of the cafe. We assumed that he was the owner. I showed him what I had printed from the internet stating that it was opened at 8am. He gave me a smart answer and sent us on our way. How rude! Do not bother stopping here. I would never treat someone like that. By the way I have helped make pies on TV with my Mother.

Good lunch, burger was a little overdone and the fries a little under done. However, the people were so kind and friendly it makes up for it. Very small town cozy feel. I liked it alot.

Don’t be misled by other ‘pie’-oneers, this is the real deal! Imagine stepping back in time...wide plank floors, wood burning stove, home made food and a warm ‘Welcome! How y’all doing?’ This was our experience on a cold, snow swept New Years Day, 2019. We were lost in time, as we dined on thick juicy burgers made to order, golden fresh cut fries (with an incredible garlic topping) and warm from the oven pie ( made by a local Amish woman). Our hosts were genuinely pleased to see us and we spent a leisurely visit sharing thoughts and, of all things, an engaging dialogue on the American Political System! With a quote or two from General Mattis sharing his wisdom of always carrying a knife! Thank you for sharing your food and hospitality, Pie Cafe, these three Canadian ladies will talk of you often and smile!

First visit. Small restaurant out in the middle of nowhere. Had a meal and piece of pie.

The food is good, burger is half pound! Garlic parm fries are also outstanding especially with limited fries. The pies are even better.

They just opened back up 2 days ago, but the owners are friendly, baking pies, and serving up hot food. A great place to go if you want to eat something filling.

Lovely people, great food, and very relaxed, friendly atmosphere. I'd say this place is perfect for those looking for an authentic country kitchen dining experience.
