Lunch This small and strategically arranged Floorplan gets the most out of the narrow rectangular space. Great atmosphere and a couple of the nicest staff members made my lunch memorable. I'd don't know the area well and picked a few choices and then asked for guidance. The waitress helped me pick a local dish along with 2 small chili samplings and their local hot sauce. I would say flavorful sauce instead of hot sauce. What a great lunch! Fast, Friendly and Affordable! Local places are my favorite. Don't miss this one.
Great place to stop in for a meal, although you might have to wait a few mins for a table during peak times. Attached pics include Miguels (with taco), a bean burrito, and a kids corn dog meal. Almost all the entrees come smothered, which is great. Although the green chile is a tad spicier it really is da bomb, don't waste your time with the red, you are in NM after all. Native Americans peddle their wares while you are eating, so don't be surprised.
Family owned and operated since 1976, Jerry’s Cafe serves homestyle no-frills New Mexican food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some of their specialties include stuffed Sopapilla’s and green or red chile smothered Flat Enchiladas. Flat enchilada are a “stack” of usually three tortillas dipped in a chile sauce and frequently associated as a NM “style” of food. I ordered the Flat Enchiladas which Jerry’s serves as three corn tortillas layered with cheese and onion, smothered with green or red chile, topped with an egg, and served with a side of beans, hash browns, and a sopapilla. This was a great way to start off our visit. The chile was hot and flavorful, the tortillas had good texture, and the cheese and fried egg made it extra tasty! It was a pleasant stop on the road to Santa Fe. Welcome to New Mexico!
Super Small Cafe thats ALWAYS busy! Their food is amazing and the staff was super nice! No wonder its been around a long time!! Keep up the great job!!
What a great authentic restaurant! I had the deluxe burger and fries with green chili strips and it was fantastic! My wife had the stuffed soppapas-awesome! The chips and salsa were some of the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend them. It’s worth the wait.
Go, go, go! Dodd and service was so good we plan another vacation to New Mexico just to eat the again. I had the Cherrell, a stuffed soapapilla. Outstanding. Tiny place off the beaten path and totally worth going.
Chile sauce was great and the sopapillas best I ever had. The place was full and people were waiting outside but we got right in. These people really hustle!
