We have been to burdicks for many years. My daughter who since passed, would walk up after school have a hot chocolate and a pastry and do her homework. That was 16 years ago, they treated her like family. I've enjoyed cosmos, fine dining and fashion shows here. Great staff, great food and drinks. Most recent they put in a tea House that compliments the desserts and chocolate. So lovely! The tea House in Colorado was so fun when we went. So it was refreshing to see one in our area. Always enjoyable

Lovely place for hand made chocolates.

Beautiful restaurant. Chocolates are really good and the chocolate drinks are so delicious. The service can be a bit weird sometimes; I've had the clerks treat me like an inconvenience. The Christmas decorations are always so beautiful!

The sweets are exquisite and the hot chocolate makes you go weak in the knees. In addition, you can order online and the package will arrive in pristine condition, looking as though you just picked it up yourself. I have bought many gifts online and surprised dear friends with a memorable treat.

Burdick' s is always a destination for me, and I always want to get back sooner. The smell of chocolate and coffee when you open the door is enough for a contact high, and everything is delicious and beautiful! I love the restaurant too, it's my taste of Europe without the airfare.

Six or seven stars really!!! The ambiance is amazing AND there's CHOCOLATE- upscale everything! What's not to brighten the mood or make your day special? Though I've visited a few times before, this trip I noticed the chocolate elephants! Not the infamous mice, mind you, but these chocolate elephants caught my eye. You need to go in and discover what is SUPER SPECIAL about them. I will tell you that I purchased a few- individually boxed, for a ladies weekend escape. The reactions did not disappoint my choice. AND I feel really good about the super-special thing.

I'd like to preface this with the fact that I am in retail and understand not everything can be perfect. However, I experienced the strangest atmosphere here in terms of the service. My grandma wanted to spend the afternoon eating oysters and sipping chocolate so we arrived to do so. She says she has never felt so weird here before, but this being my first time put a bad taste in my mouth.
The chocolate is exquisite. The service is horrid. They don't know what a Chai tea latte is, despite having it on their menu. We received a Chai bag steeping in some steamed milk. Yuck. Being the only people ordering drinks in there, we received surprisingly very little attention, i.e. forgetting the soy milk and putting it in a to-go cup instead of a mug. They also put our orders together without asking. They were obviously having too much fun chatting to pay attention to their only customers. We then ordered some sipping chocolate to make up for the horrible tea. Delicious stuff, but the giggling made it sort of frustrating when we weren't getting the basic service you'd expect from such an expensive and well-rated place.
Then we went to the empty restaurant for oysters and we simply felt like we were intruding; like we were ruining their gossip session. It was weird. Didn't feel welcome and just felt awkward around our waitress.
I'm sure it isn't always like this, and maybe they're all new employees, but I was relatively disappointed. At least I have some great chocolate to take home.

I've had a few of their cakes for various special occasions - always delicious. However I find the desserts they have in the display case can be a little dry and not as tasty as they look. Overall, nice spot to grab a coffee or tea and maybe a little chocolate.

We absolutely love their chocolate. My 2 year old is in love with their holiday shapes and also loves their chocolate mice. It's pretty pricey but handmade and in my opinion well worth the price. If you stop in you have to try the iced chocolate.
