I LOVE the Met! I came to the area for the first time in 2009 and the Met became a tradition right away. The lattes are amazing, but my favorite drink is the mountain valley mist. Although I haven't had any desserts in recent years, i do recall them being delicious. I look forward to stopping here every time I'm in the area.

Look. I hate to ding a place on one visit. I've only been here once. I got a spinach and feta croissant for my daughter. She refused to eat it. Because I'm a mom, and I live off of scraps refused by my kids, I started to eat it. And I nearly threw up. Opened it up to find it full of MOLD. Ok, things happen. Your food vendor messes up or something gets stored at the wrong temp, I get it. I brought it in because I thought they better check the rest of the croissants. The person I spoke to glanced at it, shrugged and said "no ma'am, that's feta." Look at that picture. What kind of furry feta is that??? When I said it was definitely NOT feta, she shrugged and said, "what do you want a new one?" I took a plain croissant instead but was aghast that they didn't even check the ones in the case, and that she ARGUED with me.

(Second edit to add: owner reached out with apology, which is appreciated. I recognize that this summer was exceptionally busy, and complicated with COVID. I hope this was an exception to the usual experience and will give them another try next time we go to N. Conway and update review accordingly).

My OG go to for 20+ years, the staff is always super helpful, always showing you new products/new flavors. We brought home some fresh ground coconut cream recently and we sadly whipped through it quickly it was that good!

Always a plus when they have some Peace of Mind GF treats left in the afternoon, we usually split one, have some coffee and relax before heading back to our hotel or home.

Love the lattes here! The best iced latte I've ever had. Lots of flavor syrup and alternative milk options. The breakfast menu is great as well and they have multiple gluten free bagel options to choose from. I appreciated their dog friendly patio (there's even a water bowl for dogs). It gets crowded but they process orders quickly.

After having a good breakfast here in September I stopped by today after a day hiking the area with my dog for a late lunch. The thanksgiving turkey sandwich sounded great with the warmed stuffing especially on this cool later October day. The sandwich was ice cold and the cranberry ciabatta soggy, as if it had been pre made and refrigerated. My small decaf coffee was VERY old! What premium coffee shop serves any coffee that way! These items are priced at Starbuck prices plus the 20 percent tip I added to the bill.
I never mind paying higher prices for quality but this was not that. If it hadn’t been for the need to get my dog together to trudge back in and that a very large group can in as I left I would have returned from my parking spot to as least replace the coffee. The staff was also a bit grumpy, not the A team I encountered back in September.

The met is a great place to get coffee, and a snack while visiting with people. They have art of many varieties. Greeting cards, photos, paintings, other framed art. It's all for sale! A great way to have a unique souvenir that you can then enjoy looking at or even give as a wonderful thoughtful gift.

The coffee is great and so are the sandwhiches. Unfortunately they were out of nitro cold brew but there cold brew was still good! Always swing by when I'm in north Conway
