Water Street Cafe

Great food but much more expensive in comparison to other local breakfast restaurants. They are not willing to substitute even if you offer to pay more. Alot of of there dishes don't automatically come with things you would expect and that you do get included at other places. They were very rude to me and my friend when they messed up my order big time, I called and they old me to bring it back and they would fix it. My friend drove all way there with my now cold and wrong breakfast only to be treated rudely and then did not even replace what was missing or fix anything. So he then brought his same wrong and cold breakfast plate back to me that I did no eat. Mind you my bill was over $80 for three of us to have breakfast.

I don't understand all the negative comments on here. The breakfast we ordered was absolutely delicious. We waited about 35 mins to receive it but the place was busy and you can tell they make things from scratch (which will take more time than food left to die in a steam table).
Only thing I wasn't thrilled about was the drinks and our server was great but could have been a little more attentive.
We'll definitely be back!

They give you so much for your money. The servers are friendly and funny 😁. It's definitely the best breakfast in town.

Went on Sunday of Columbus Day weekend. The food was definitely worth the wait, but it did take a long time. Seated quickly enough, but took about 40 minutes to get our food. Assuming things go quicker when it is not a holiday....so I would recommend trying it.

This place is a hidden gem! The wait time wasn't that long about 15 minutes to be seated. It was a longer wait time for the food but it was well worth it. The place was packed but the waitstaff are very pleasant and attentive. There are so many options available I didn't know where begin. My boyfriend got the pulled pork omelet and it was amazing. I got blueberry pancakes and I could only eat one they were enormous but absolutely delicious. This will be our new favorite place to go whenever we visit the area.

First timer. Interesting menu choices in addition to 'the usual'. Food was nicely presented and delicious.
I will be back. Downside is limited hours - breakfast and lunch, only.

What a find!! So glad we stopped! Everything was excellent. Service excellent from Ciara and the food was awesome! I would say we would be back…but we are visiting from Florida!
Try the cheesy smashed potatoes for breakfast! I had a Haddock Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries! 🥰

Great food, Great selection, reasonable prices. Must try their homemade Polish Beans, Maple walnut bread, and Cranberry bread with breakfast.

What a delicious place with a super staff! Definitely one of the best locations to have an early meal in Laconia!
