Water Street Cafe

We were here for breakfast and the food was awesome! I had the Irish eggs Benedict and the eggs were cooked perfectly. My husband had the cafe special and he said it was delicious. The service was great and the other staff were friendly.

Food and atmosphere was very underwhelming. Scalloped potatoes tasted like water, the steakhouse omlet.... Steak was not seasoned, way overcooked and gray. Omlet itself had no seasoning or flavor.

Excited about the bloody Marys but it was very lackluster, very basic mix with no spice to it at all with a hunk of cheese, pickle, olive and pepperoni as garnish (for 13+ dollars!)

Waitress was very freindly so I will give 2 stars for the service.

Corned beef hash is amazing! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and fast service!

Went for breakfast here and usually it is a great spot for breakfast. My hubby not wanting to have a huge breakfast of an omelette, home fries ect (which their omelettes are phenomenal) He ordered a bowl of oatmeal with bananas and brown sugar. To his surprise, what was delivered to the table was a bowl with about a 1/2 cup of oatmeal and legit about 5 slices of banana(not even 1/2 a banana), the cup of brown sugar had more content than his whole dish. Guess they must have thought that he wanted to keep it light, so they gave it to him light. Moral of the story, don’t get the oatmeal..their food is always good! Just this time they skimped on something so simple, I have to comment.

Amazing food and staff! Don't go there though...I'll never be able to get a seat again if the word gets out! LOL! Seriously go there and get ANYTHING on the menu and you will be very pleased!

Um......YUM!! Everyone was friendly, attentive, and eager to assist:)
Other dinners were the in to their company and focused on their conversation. No dramatic women or men ruining everyone's meal with their narcissistic grandiose thoughts on how everyone was out to get them or beneath them! That's a huge plus!! Seems like you can't escape that particular hike than thou group nowadays! Except here, a piece of heaven in every bite!!

Past two times I've been there, waitresses were arrogant and self entitled. And the food was over priced. I dont understand how the rating is a 4.3
Its a 2.9 at best, on my scales. =[
