Inn at Ellis River

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Ellis River for three nights in September for our anniversary and we absolutely loved it. The Inn itself is beautiful and the location is breathtaking. The Innkeepers Mary and John are amazing, fun, kind, and very attentive, not one detail was missed. The breakfasts were out of this world good! We wished we had more time there and will absolutely be back, three nights was not enough. We will be back asap!

My Wife and I stayed 3 nights here for our first anniversary. Everyone was great! Breakfast was awesome. The bacon and sourdough bread were my favorites. Fresh cookies for us during the day as a snack was definitely a plus.

We just got back from a unforgettable stay for our “babymoon”! We had such a sweet surprise waiting for us when we checked into our room (Paradise Falls) for booking the babymoon package. Everyone who works at the Inn was so friendly and pleasant and we especially loved the resident pup, Emma : ) Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious. We also enjoyed lunch one day at J-Town Deli and had a phenomenal dinner up the road at The Wentworth Inn. Thanks for a great stay, Mary and John!!!

Cannot get over how perfect our stay was! Photos don't do justice how homey, clean, and festive the Inn at Ellis River is. The morning breakfast, evening cookies, sitting area with games, gift shop, and bar are unparalleled features -- I truly don't think we would ever want to stay anywhere else, because here has everything you need. We didn't even want to leave for our daily adventures because we loved it so much. Clearly, we will be back again! The staff were so personable, which put all the guests at ease and more likely to socialize with each other. Easy access to the White Mountains, ~15 minute drive from downtown North Conway, down the street from Nestlenook Farm, and near covered bridges. Literally feels like a Hallmark Movie in the winter...but still excited to see what it looks like in the summer! Perfect size for a couple.

Actual angels work here!! My husband and I stayed this past weekend and had the best stay. Every morning there is a delicious hot breakfast, the room was beautiful and so clean, the STAFF— unbelievably warm and kind. We felt at home and will be returning/recommending all our family and friends. I couldn’t have had a better experience

5 star experience. High end linens and delicious breakfasts rounded out this wonderful stay. Innkeepers were knowledgeable about local dining. Many things to do in the area and hiking trails to explore. Aces in my book.

We just stayed here for a short weekend visit and had the best time! Christine warmly welcomed us and the owners were so kind and made a delicious breakfast each day! We loved our little room with the fireplace and couldn't have asked for a better stay. We also felt completely safe the whole time. This will be the only place we stay up here going forward. John and Mary were most gracious hosts especially given the added complexity of the pandemic. We felt very safe and appreciated their attention to detail. Our room was comfortable and charming. The two breakfasts were outstanding. I must point out the scones we had one morning. This is our third stay and they are always a highlight. We enjoyed the evening by the fire near the river. What a perfect setting to talk with family and friends. We have always enjoyed the White Mountains. The Inn at Ellis River adds to our enjoyment. A beautiful experience in a beautiful setting.

This is a really lovely inn! The innkeepers, Mary and John, are so kind and welcoming. The grounds are beautiful with flowers everywhere. The inn itself is clean and well kept with cozy beds and nicely decorated rooms. The breakfast is so yummy especially the homemade granola and the bacon 🥓 😋 My husband and I come up here every year and we will definitely stay here again.

This Inn is the best! The room we had was very clean and had all the amenities needed. There was a sliding door out onto the deck. This overlooked a beautiful lawn bordered with trees. We had a drink in the quintessential bar, from an era past, while enjoying a game of pool and darts. Adirondack chairs line the beautiful river bank allowing for quiet time. Breakfast was the bomb! We ate way more than we should have but enjoyed every bite. Sadly, we were here for only a night. We will not hesitate to stay here again when in the area.
