Old World Coffee Lab - Midtown

My wife and I go here every week. The staff is great and very knowledgeable. The coffee here is so good that it will spoil you. They just recently started to roast their own coffee and it is very good. If your in town and want an awesome coffee experience you should take the time to stop by.

BEST COFFEE IN RENO. Hands down! I normally don't love flavored coffees, but Old World has such unique creations that are not overly sweet or flavored. The atmosphere is super clean and comfortable as well! 10/10 recommend.

World-class coffees from the best coffee farms, prepared by baristas who know their craft and are nice people. We were impressed.

Great spot, spacious interior, good tunes, decent breakfast food selection and pastries. Not a fan of their floral oriented coffee, i'm more of a earthy robust darker flavor, but i wont dock them because of it. They usually have multiple options though, i got unlucky in my choice.

Great little start-up coffee shop. Quality NOT quantity. Stay at it guys & I’ll be back.

First time here and it has been wonderful. The two men behind the counter are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and seem to love what they do. They keep an extremely clean work space and listen to great music. Wish I had found this place more than 3 days prior to leaving Reno. Wifi, lots of plugs, lots of seating, great for getting work done or meeting with friends.

There’s something about walking into a business and stepping up to the counter to order to just be stared at. Acknowledge your customers, use words. After ordering and not even being spoken to, my drink was then sat on a counter and never told it was ready. Then I see the same barista hand delivering coffee and waters to a table of girls. Not sure if they are friends or he thought they were hot. Either way, treat your customers the same, with words and with kindness. The beverage was fine, but I won’t go back.

Drinks are great, no overbearing music, staff is friendly, prices are reasonable.. only issue I have is the space. It's just an empty space with merch in the middle and some terrible quality of seating. I have a joke that either people run out of cash when they get to the seating or the seating may be a reflection of the concept (money-making rather than comfort). The Carson location has excellent service with the same empty interior but the outside at the Carson location makes it.

If you want comfort, this isnt the spot IMHO. If you want great coffee to go, it'll work for ya. I'll go back sometimes, but I believe there are better locations in town to regular.

The coffee is made as you order so you know it's fresh and it's roasted in house! I love the asthetic of this place. I definitely plan on going back again.

This coffee shop strikes the fine line between a place for someone who knows little about coffee to come in and enjoy their time, as well as for someone who is more interested in where their beans are sourced, what notes come out of each cup, and so on. The baristas are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and the selection of rotating coffees do not disappoint. 10/10 would come again
