Some of what we got were pretty bland. Don't get me wrong they're good just bland.

For the price the pasties were small. Also I don't know if it's because we went later in the day, and they had been sitting out awhile, but we got a variety and they were all dry, the crust and filling.

We were also going to get a pie, they only had one flavor available out of all the pies listed on the menu, they are also very small for the price.

All in all it was okay.

I lived in England for quite a while, spent time in NZ and OZ... if you love pies (as I do) and pasty goods, you know those spots are great locations for quality scrumptious foods. Who knew a little shop in Elko NV would outdo any pasties bakery I've ever had the pleasure of visiting? Do yourself a favour and get some miner food. I am the pickiest of eaters, I now have a culinary addiction.

Great pasties. Had the beef and cabbage and the beef and mushroom. On the way back home stopped and bought 14 more. Also bought two bottles, one of each kind, of their sauces. Tasted them in the parking lot and went in and bought two more. Be careful of the bottle carrier they put them in though. The bottom fell out and two bottles hit the ground but luckily only one broke. Sadness ☹️

I can't believe pasties this good are made in Elko, which could be called the middle of nowhere. They have many flavors of pasties. The flakey crust is delicious. Highly recommended.

Cornish pies! A delicious meal baked into a pie. This place is a hidden gem. Some will think of this as fast food, but it is so much better than that.

Love the pasties at the BJ Bull Bakery, and the apple beer is so good. I have been going to this shop for about a year now, and I have never had a bad experience. The pasties make great road food, too, and are far more filling than McDonalds. This is the best kind of fast food - real ingredients, no preservatives, and made from scratch. Try it!

Fantastic homemade food! I love the beef and mushroom and the beef and cabbage. The Chili Verde deluxe is amazing.
The pies and carrot cake are incredible too! Rhubarb is a family favorite!
