Delicious pies, and great service! The cheese and veggie wasn't our favorite, but the breakfast and the beef and potato were great. We had a pecan pie for later in the day that was also excellent. Definitely worth a stop!

Must stop!! Best pasties ever! Today we are taking 25 home with us….they come hot or frozen! My favorite is the chili verde!!

FIVE STARS ALL DAY EVERYDAY!!!! THE BEST!!! I literally CRAVE the the beef and cabbage and their pies are straight up gonna be your “growing up, my grandma and mama made this during the holidays” homemade, comfort food. Would have a pic to show but…. Nothing made it home. 😂

Great place for a quick bite

A great find during my recent stop in Elko... Beef and Cabbage pastie was delicious and peach pie was amazing! Will stop by again on my way home to pick up some goodies to bring home.

So, I’ve been in Elko for two weeks and I am very sad. I am sad that I JUST discovered this place the day before I leave. FANTASTIC pasties. I’m supposed to leave to go home at 7am, but I’ve decided to extend until they’ve opened and I’ve had time to get some pasties for the road. The second I brought the beef, potatoes and onion pastie to my face, I felt an overwhelming sense of comfort at the smell. The first bite did not disappoint. Neither did the next, nor the next, nor the next until I was done. At the point I was a little sad it was gone, but I had another so my sadness was quickly subdued. If you love comfort foods, this is it. When you’re in Elko, or just passing through, grab a few.

A small place of business but it's so addictive. Bet you can't eat just one!

This place has amazing pies, which we discovered on a road trip last year. However, we just drove all the way from Salt Lake City, specifically for their pies, after calling to confirm they will be open today, and arrived to a sign that says "We will be closed Saturday May 15th for a family function". Would have been nice to know BEFORE planning a 700 mile weekend trip around coming here for pies!

Edit: During the writing of this review 4 other groups from out of state arrived and informed us that they were here for the same reason.

such a great change from regular fast food, I always make a point to stop here on my way through to get a couple (ok four) for the drive. Beef and Mushroom, chicken and rice, a breakfast and a chile Verde. Such a unique food item, no other town has anything like this, Good Job Elko, Good Job BJ Bull Bakery!!
