BEST COFFEE IN TOWN!!! I am so blown away by this coffeeshop; delicious cup of coffee, amazing atmosphere, and most importantly the best customer service I've ever had in my life! The owner is such an awesome guy, super nice and had a great conversation with us the whole time we were there! Can't skip this spot if you're in Omaha.

A fun fur-friendly coffee shop with a great atmosphere. Stopped by here while visiting Omaha and love my canines and my coffee. All the dogs here are well behaved and lots of art lines the walls. The coffee was good drip and espresso style. Nothing artisan but a good cup nonetheless. Staff was friendly and when my coffee cup sprung a link the barista was extremely apologetic.

The baked goods are brought in and somewhat limited choice but the croissant was a tasty side. Bonus for using Square and knowing how to use wallet.

Talk about a place thats a must go!
It reflects a great start to anyone's day. Its only about 15 minutes from airport.
Macchiato is sooo good. The owner is very friendly, and you can tell the local people know they have a gem.
I will visit every time I'm in town!

Amazing coffee. We got a cappuccino and it was perfect! Very smooth, not bitter at all. Beans are not over roasted. I believe locally here in Ithaca. The master barista has lived in Seattle and Brooklyn. Two great places to get training on how to produce exceptional coffee. You will not be disappointed. Not to mention he is very friendly and likes to chat.

Amazing place. Great service. It feels like you're walking in and talking to a long time friend. Great environment. Clean. Trendy.

I went hear based on someone else's review and how the owner is very personable and a good conversationalist. That is so true. The owner makes even a stop in just for coffee and good moment in your day. And the coffee is very good (I always get an Americano as a way to judge the quality of their espresso). Note - this shop is very understated and easy to miss. Parking on the street is your best bet, or a quick stop in what looked to be the police station lot.

Greg is pouring strong coffee. It paired well with his local insight! Get some

I believe the owner's name is Greg, and he alone is worth the visit to Howlin' Hounds. Kind and attentive service, wonderful conversation, he even researched local desert places for us to try. The latte was heavenly, and the ambiance was laid-back and soothing. Definetly would make a trip back to Omaha for this place.

I stopped in just to kill some time on a Sunday afternoon. It was slow, so I began to talk to the barista. I found out she was the sister of the owner and that the building actually used to be a bar that their parents owned, hence the long bar and stools. We talked for awhile before her mom showed up and explained some more of the history. After awhile, Greg, the owner, stopped in and joined our conversation. The genuine hospitality of this family is amazing. I felt like an old, family friend. To make things even better, the coffee was delicious. They also have artwork hung throughout the shop that can be purchased. The theme and artist changes every month or so.

Decided to venture out and try a new coffee spot with a friend. Glad we chose this place! Definitely recommend it. The barista working was very kind and easy to talk to. Chill environment & great coffee.
