Coffee is more than just caffeine and Howlin Hounds has a way of making that known! Cool art, great people, and coffee that will give you the jitters... Literally! (hard to resist when it's that great!) Love this place and will be back whenever i'm in the area!

Greg makes the best coffee and his environment is welcoming to everyone. A trip to Omaha without Howlin' Hounds, is a sad trip!

Amazing place! Best cold brew I've ever had and a great vibe.

You couldn't ask for better black coffee or conversation. Anyone is welcome here and your sure to enjoy both yourself and whatever kind of coffee you fancy!

Excellent coffee. Great vibe. I specifically had a latte. Best I've ever had. Skip the chain coffee joints! It's worth the drive and your time.

The latte and americano were really good, they obviously use great beans! The crema on the americano was a testament to the combo of an awesome barista and stellar beans. The old converted bar made for a very chill environment; I’d highly recommend Howlin Hounds if you’re looking for high quality espresso.

Greg at Howlin Hounds knows as much (if not more) about coffee than anyone else in town. From the beans he picks, to the correct daily-calibrated grind for each type of coffee production, to latte art - you seriously won't find a superior cup of joe in town. Unlike some of the other artisanal (read: hipster) coffee joints in town that I still totally enjoy - there is no pretension with Greg. His business is built entirely upon the relationships he builds with his customers. On my second visit into his shop, Greg remembered my name and what I had ordered the last time I was in. Where else can you get that in this day and age? And his coffee is consistently jaw-dropping. Seriously. If you want the best latte in town, go give Howlin Hounds a shot. If you want one of the best pour-overs in town, Greg has his grind and timing down to a tee. And if you like a floral, tea-like cup of coffee - get the Ethiopian pour-over. It's to die for. A great afternoon drink. His iced coffees are a summertime staple. But first and foremost come in for the environment. There isn't a coffee shop like this one in town. Omaha's hidden coffee gem for sure.

Traveling from out of town and stumbled upon this gem. The blended mocha drink was delicious and not too sweet. Loved the pasta straws!! WAY better than paper straws!

Carries good beans, but unfortunately the owner did not brew the pour over correctly. He just dumped water haphazardly into the grinds and finished a 12oz pour over in around 45 seconds. The process is supposed to take 3 minutes. The result is a disappointingly thin cup. Sad, because this place has so much potential.

Great community coffee shop! The coffee was great, the proprietor friendly, and local art for sale on the walls. We will be back soon.
