Great food, nice atmosphere. The rumchata French toast with mixed berry coulis is amazing. The service was quick and very friendly. Definitely would recommend if you are in town.

A friend who works in Gering introduced me to this place, and it's become a lunch and coffee staple for me ever since! Not only is the food delicious, but they can accomodate all kinds of dietary restrictions - veg, dairy-free, gluten free, or just a big juicy cheeseburger with fries. What a gem.

Best place to eat in Gering! I'm glad I can find some of the Volga German foods I grew up with.

Coffee, breakfast, brunch and more! The energy here is so welcoming and is a great local hangout. My favorite spot to grab coffee and delicious food in Gering!

Hearty delicious breakfast of biscuits and gravy. After asking about what a German pancake was (on the menu) our server brought one out to the table as a sample with no charge! The pastries behind the glass were also wonderful. Grebel and dinna kuchen. It was fun to try authentic German desserts and everything was homemade. Even got a "decent coffee" out of my critical grandfather. Service was quick and friendly. This place was an oasis on our road trip of lackluster diner breakfasts. A+

Excellent service and the food was really great!! French toast a la carte and the sausage was delicious. Affordable and delicious!! Double win!! Staff was accommodating for our large family, will stop by again when traveling.

Terrific food and service in a super cute setting! Pastries were wonderful, too. Some folks commenting on price. I disagree. I've paid just as much (or more) for a meal in a chain restaurant and enjoyed it far less. Give this place a try...you won't be sorry!

My favorite place in the community to get the freshest and tastiest food! It's the only place where I don't have a favorite dish because everything on the menu is delicious. Every time we have visitors in town we take them here for breakfast or lunch, and everyone always says it's some of the best food they've had! Our community is lucky to have this amazing place :)

The Mixing Bowl in Gering is a breakfast, lunch, bakery gem. I love Chef Jaime’s pancake recipe, simply the best, and the breakfast sausage she serves is delicious and like nothing you can get anywhere else in town. Try her breakfast burrito w hash browns, egg, chorizo with a twist, ask for her white sausage gravy over the top, or go traditional with the green chili gravy, you can’t go wrong. The Eggs Benedict is exceptional in part because of her choice of Canadian Bacon used in the dish, eggs cooked perfectly, country potato’s. Yep, you can tell I’m a fan, and you will be too, everything on this menu rocks. Breakfast menu served all day :)
