Everything about this place is amazing! The food is fresh, delicious, homemade and perfect for a quick bite or long lunch. Their homemade ketchup is ridiculously delicious! The staff is incredibly friendly and nice. The building is spotless and their bake goods are bomb!!!

As far as I am concerned, this is one of the best restaurants in the state, if not the whole region. LOVE this place. Have never had a single meal here that was less than excellent.

I enjoy good healthy food. The Chicken salad was good. The curry really added a different taste which I enjpyed. The sweet potato fries are the best I've ever had. Service was good but not the best. They stood and talked to each other and didn't pay attention to their customers.

Go. Here. You will find delicious food, a fun atmosphere and very friendly service. We had the pineapple express burger and the Reuben, both of which became our new favorite versions. We will be returning to a new favorite spot soon and often.

This by far is the best spot for breakfast and lunch in Gering/SB. The food is always fresh. And the staff is very friendly and attentive. I am in town for only 1 month but I will probably be eating there on most days.

Jamie, you have hands down one of the BEST hometown scratch made restaurants around!!!! Our food was beyond amazing!!! Hubby and I ordered the Thursday special, Cabbage Burger with Butterball Soup. Yummmmmm!!!!! Our son ordered the Boss Hog with fries. His was yummmmmmy as well! If we could rate 10 stars, we would! Homemade ketchup is the best I've ever tasted. Mandy, our waitress was friendly and so helpful. We left feeling like family! Will visit again tomorrow, before we leave town, for breakfast! **Please note the close at 3. From 2-3 is Happy Hour with 15% off of drinks and dessert!

Fantastic cafe in the Getting/Scottsbluff area. There's extra parking in the back and a drive-thru window on the side of the shop. There service was quick, friendly, and helpful with menu suggestions. They have a variety of homemade options and everything served was freshly made. The cafe has a small menu for food including lunch and breakfast options and additional coffee and other drink options. We tried the soup, sandwich specials, and the truffle fries with homemade ranch. They also have some baked goods like scones and muffins to-go as well.

This place is a must-visit if you're out in western Nebraska!

Excellent local cafe. Called ahead on our road trip and our food was ready when we arrived. My California turkey sandwich was made with the freshest avocado and roast turkey, not deli turkey. I would gladly dine here any day. Highly recommend.

Cute little cafe. We ate here on a Saturday morning, so menu was a brunch type of menu. Breakfast is not the time I like to experiment with food so ordered ala cart to get my bacon, eggs and toast. Hubby ordered a breakfast sandwich, so I guess he was afraid to try the gourmet sounding foods also. :) Service was fast, waitress friendly, and the food was good.

I had never been to Nebraska before this trip. If all the food there is as good as The Mixing Bowl, you're fortunate people! The owner was so welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious. The homemade ketchup (first time I've ever had that!) was incredible. The truffle fries and cabbage burger (also a first for me) were fantastic, and I tried another first, a grebel (sp?), for dessert. Oh my goodness, it was yummy! I highly recommend this quaint restaurant.
