Tru North Cafe

Went in for a quick coffee, left having eaten some of the best food we had in town. James and his crew are so welcoming and friendly (and we even got to meet his new dog!) Tru North is a must if you’re ever in Livingston. Thanks for the great experience guys!

Amazing energy here!! The owner is extraordinary with his hospitality- took the time to go over item on the menu in detail on his creations. The 'Harvest Moon' was incredible especially witht the obligation to play Neil Young while being served!

What an absolute gem of a place. The atmosphere is great, excellent coffee and food, and everyone is friendly.

We love this place, the food is always fresh & tasty and the coffee is delicious. There are cozy couches and perfect tables to do some work at while you're enjoying your food and coffee. On top of it all, the owner and his staff are the best. Friendly and hospitable. 10/10 recommend.

Wonderful place - great atmosphere and awesome food! I had the avocado toast with bourbon bacon and egg - delicious! My husband had the siracha bagel - best bagel sandwich he has ever had! Take the time and stop - you won’t be disappointed!

I've traveled around alot in my 47 years. I was in a touring rock and roll band for many years. And I have lived in the Yellowstone area off and on over the years. The one thing I do no matter where I am is wake up and sort of sleepwalk to the nearest coffee shop. One thing I always complain about in this particular area, is the lack of good coffee and the lack of good pizza. Well I'm here to tell you the coffee situation has been rectified in Livingston. The best coffee shop in the world he's right here in Livingston Montana. One of the only things I miss now that I've moved back to Pittsburgh, is the coffee at tru north!! And I have the most interesting breakfast dishes around. If you have a sweet tooth you will love it. And James, the owner, is one of the greatest nicest people around. And check your politics at the door, cuz this is a guy that loves you for you. I feel like that too was needed in Livingston and Montana in general.

Absolutely delicious! I was recommended the TruJam and the Cha Cha Breakfast sandwich. My son and I ordered one of each, and they delivered! My personal favorite was the Cha Cha as it had a very slight heat complimented by the cream cheese on a yummy bagel with a perfect egg and wonderful sausage ta boot. Nothing against the fantastic TruJam! It was excellent as well! Even my little boy’s hot chocolate was great! Well done, TruNorth!
