This rating is five stars based solely upon the nut roll I called in ordered to go. They had one left and the waitress very kindly boxed it up and put it aside for me while I frantically drove to pick it up!
Now that's great service. And the rolls are the best in the state, hands down. Do recommend :)

This place is HOME. When I need comfort food this is where I come. Food is made from scratch, and I think people forget that sometimes. The cooks can only go so fast when making stuff from scratch, so if you want FAST then go a couple blocks down to McDonald’s.
Please stop being rude to waitstaff, and employees because you are impatient. I have been witnessing more and more of this in the last year. This place has been serving LOCALS since long before I was born. I am tired of seeing our small businesses in this town being treated poorly by people who are from out of state. I have been coming here my ENTIRE life and I have never had a bad meal.
Please be considerate when coming here, and treat other how you want to be treated.
The Coffee Cup is the #1 breakfast in the valley, and everyone knows it. The pies are my favorite late night snack, and the soups are always delicious.

Great restaurant. Arrived in cold and tried off the bike on a wet day. Waitress recommended Cherry pie... she wasn't wrong. Yummy..
Thanks from your Irish friends

If I could leave no stars I absolutely would. This place has gone straight down the pipes....
Super small servings for the outrageous price. I had a rueban with homemade fries. Sandwich was way to small, fries were almost burnt and soggy. Waitress was running around and passed my table 18 times and never stopped to ask if we needed anything or if we were doing ok. When she finally came up with the ticket she asked if we needed anything else. Never inquired about our food, asked if we needed drink refills or dessert. For 2 pancakes, a reuben with french fries, 2 sodas was $29.00. Will not stop here again.

I have been working in the restaurant industry most of my life. The kitchen in this restaurant is one of the cleanest kitchens I have ever seen in all the years but I've worked in restaurants. Furthermore pretty much everything at this restaurant is made from scratch it is the only restaurant in the valley that serves completely homemade pies crust and all. And the owners are just awesome people they take really good care of their employees.

Stopped in for breakfast. Hubby’s pancakes were giant sized, one a little on the dark side. My omelette was okay but kinda bland. Toast was too dark, almost burnt. Iced tea was not very strong. Coffee good. Pastries looked good but didn’t buy any. Waitress was friendly and efficient.

Amazing my kind of place! Owner been here since 1986 and works here every day. Food excelent, servuce excellent, pies excellent. Prices are fair... if they are high its cause im too old:-) been here 3 times this week and plan on another 4 times over next 4 days.

I'll just come out and say it, I'm every servers nightmare when it comes to breakfast. I always get a veggie omelet, with the eggs OM & veggies on the side. I usually get a confused look, but Brianna made us feel right at home, ensuring I had the best veggies & eggs breakfast. This gal makes this place special with her Can-do and friendly attitude. And the food is great of course! Check out our pix 😉

Waste of time/terrible service……Visiting Hamilton for the Gun Show Saturday we were hungry for some soup. We chose to drive from the fairgrounds across town to the Coffee Cup- one of my personal favorites growing up. However I wish we would never have bothered. Our service was deplorable. First, we stood in the entryway by the “wait to be seated sign” in plain view. Employees where everywhere and kept walking by, but never looked at us or acknowledged us. After about a 10 min. wait there, along with a large build up of customers behind us, we were told “we could just pick a table.” I walked in to the front, noting two unbused available booths. I stood and waited another 5 minutes for our table to be cleared, then proceeded to move dishes from one booth to the other. Once I had cleared my own table, we sat down. Our waitress finally arrived- again no smile, eye contact, or greeting, but did spray and wipe down our table and inquired about bringing us something to drink. We both replied water and menus please. It took just a few minutes to decide what we wanted to order and then again we waited and waited. When our waitress did finally again return, she had placemats and silverware which she set and then again inquired about drinks. I replied “I just want lemon tea and a small malt o meal.” With that she put her hand and arm out- right in my face with fingers splayed out “just your drinks,” she replied rudely. It was with that gesture of “hey shut up” that we got up a left. I have never been treated so poorly in a restaraunt. I loved the Coffee Cup growing up, but my husband had never been and he will never go again- neither will I. We headed to BJs where the service was friendly, welcoming and above expectation, enjoying delicious Tomatoe Soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. We paid our bill of $20ish dollars leaving a $5 cash tip on the table for the staff. Thank you BJs.

I ordered a LARGE dinner salad that was supposed to come with a roll. I ended up with a small salad and that was it. The waitress was very rude to my table. I feel offended by the fact she had asked me if I wanted to choose a different salad then the one I had ordered due to the fact that there are many choices of salads. As she approached and dropped my salad onto the table like it was a nothing a walked away I felt like walking out of that cafe. As I never got my roll a was charged the full amount for a large salad instead of the small one I clearly got I am NEVER eating there again.
